It had taken two months for it to heal. Before that George had spent six months finding the person who could do the job. This was a delicate situation. But, after much research and interviewing, he finally found the right person.

Of course to him it made sense that it would be a woman whom he had solicited. The price was a bit over $500.00 but that price also bought the privacy needed for the delicacy of the situation. George didn’t even remember her name, but that had been unimportant to him. She was just a means to an end.

He was ready to make that phone call. George picked up the receiver and dialed her office number. The fact that she was at work ignited a smoldering flame in him.

“Pendragon Poetry & Prose, this is Annette.” She had answered the phone with a soft voice full of soothing tones.
