THE PROFESSOR

Nancy sat in her hotel room the night before her 10-year college reunion. She was having such a difficult time falling asleep. Memories of her first year in college and the loss of her innocence were flooding her.

Here she sat alone in her hotel room. She had to admit that she was kind of glad that her husband had been unable to attend with her. He had a business meeting that he just couldn't miss and he insisted that she go anyway. She wasn't sure how she would react seeing the professor after all of these years. She had not told her husband Henry about him so it was best that he was back home. She didn't know why she was feeling so nervous. For all she knew, the professor might not even be at the reunion.

Since Nancy couldn't sleep, she decided to fill the jet tub that was in her room and soak in a hot bath. Maybe that would help clear her mind of the visions that kept flashing in front of her. Oh was she wrong. She filled the tub with scented oil and began to undress. Once she sat in the tub and closed her eyes, it was as if she had been transported back in time.

The year was 1988 and Nancy had just arrived at the college campus. She had decided to attend college out of town. She knew she needed to grow ...
