A few weeks ago as I sat at my desk browsing through some paperwork, one of my coworkers walked up and told me that her and a couple of other coworkers were going to go to the bar Friday night to have a few drinks and just hang out. When she asked me if I wanted to, and I told her that it sounded like a pretty good idea because I hadn't had a night out in a while. She gave me the details and I told her that I would see her Friday night and that we would all have a great time. The rest of the week dragged on and eventually, it was Friday.

I got home from work on Friday night and went up to shower and get myself ready for the evening. I decided to go with a skirt and a tank top because it was a bit warm out and I wasn't sure how it would be inside the bar. I finished getting ready and went downstairs to grab my keys and call a cab. I told my husband that I would probably be home pretty late because some of my friends like to hang out and party into the wee hours of the morning. He kissed me on the cheek and told me to having a great time and enjoy myself. With that, I went outside to wait for my cab and was soon on my way to the bar.

When I arrived at the bar, I noticed a few of my coworkers standing outside smoking and went over and began chatting with them. We stood around outside for a few minutes while they finished their cigarettes, and the rest of our coworkers arrived. We all then decided to head inside and start the night.
