It had been a couple of years since Debbie had worked for me at the old company, things hadn't worked out there for either of us in the end. She had left and moved away up north finding a new job. I had started my own business and although things had started slowly they had recently picked up and now I had constant business and was looking at expanding, I needed an office and warehouse to cater for the additional product I would be selling. I also needed someone to help out in the office and the warehouse, this is not an easy task as normally someone who can handle the accounts doesn't want to get their hands dirty in the warehouse.

I had looked around the area that I lived for a suitable building, but being in an expensive suburb it was not an easy task, I didn't want to spend a fortune. After talking to several people they all recommended that I look further north. Soon I found a small unit, it was a bit of a drive but in a nice affordable area. Now to the problem of finding my first member of staff. I placed an ad in the local paper and although I received several applicants none of them were really suitable for the position. So I had the contracts and the building but not the help I needed, what didn't help was the contracts had started and I was up to me ears in work.
