Albuquerque Passions

The airport in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is small and easy to make one's way around in, and when you're there during off hours, like say the early morning hours between 4 and 6 AM, it can be desolate. I was taking a redeye and found myself there for a three hour layover when I ducked into the men's room between gate sections A and B.

By the sinks was a young woman crying, wiping her eyes with tissues and I feared I'd entered the wrong bathroom until I realized there was a line of urinals along the other wall. She looked up and embarrassedly looked around.

"Oh shit, I'm in the wrong place," she had tears and grabbed her back backpack, a gold Colorado State sweatshirt threaded through the straps, slinging it over her tight beige sweater but suddenly stopped, shaking her head sadly.

"Can I help you in anyway?" She was beautiful. Long brown hair and dark eyes, the sweater and jeans left no doubt as to her fit body. The jeans were tucked into tall black boots. The girl shook her head.
