A few weeks ago a couple of my coworkers had asked me if I wanted to join them for a ladies night out. I told them that I would love to, since I really had nothing much going on at home. We made our arrangements and I told them that I would meet them at the local pub. I headed home after work to take a shower and get ready to go out. When I got home my husband was laying on the couch having a few beers and watching a game. I told him I was going out with the girls and he just shrugged his shoulders and told me to have fun. I headed upstairs to take a shower and get dressed.

Once I showered, I decided to go with a pair of jeans and a tank top. Maybe I would get lucky and some guy would hit on me and buy me a few drinks. I grabbed my stuff and on my way out the door, I mentioned to my husband not to wait up for me. He just waved me off and went back to his game. I had a cab waiting to take me to the pub, and was soon on my way.

I arrived at the pub and when I entered I immediately saw my coworkers over by the bar and made my way to them. We all greeted each other and I ordered myself a drink. We spent the next several minutes enjoying our drinks and gossiping about some of our coworkers. Eventually, someone suggested we hit the dance floor to enjoy the music. We all finished our drinks and made our way onto the dance floor. We spent the next hour dancing and drinking and just enjoying ourselves.
