Last summer, my wife and I decided to take our vacation to her family's home country of Spain. I had never been there before and was looking forward to experiencing a new country. We would have an eight hour flight and once we arrived we would rent a car and drive along the coast to her grandmother's house. We would be staying with her grandmother, who lived near the beach. My wife told me that there were many festivals coming up and that we would be spending a lot of time partying with the family on the beach. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my vacation. I was very excited as I packed my bags and prepped for my vacation. Eventually the day came for our departure, and I was a bit nervous because I had not flown in quite some time. My wife reassured me that everything would be fine as we made our way to the airport. After a few hours in the airport, we finally boarded our plane and were on our way. I slept most of the flight and woke up right before we were to land. Upon landing, we grabbed our bags and headed to the car rental counter and rented a vehicle. We packed our stuff into the car and were soon on our way to her grandmother's house. It was pretty late in the day by the time we arrived. Her grandmother greeted us at the door and led us into the house and showed us around. She told us to make ourselves comfortable as she went to fix us something to eat. We unpacked our bags in the room where we would be staying and eventually headed into the dining room for dinner. We sat at the table and began eating when there was a knock on the door.
