I was finishing up and preparing some food for our BBQ, as my husband prepped the coolers for all the beer and other alcohol. It was our turn to host a barbecue, as all the neighbors took turns doing so during the summer. Every weekend one house on the block would have a barbecue and invite all the neighbors over to enjoy. Today it was our turn and I was getting everything prepared before people started arriving. We had invited everyone on the block, including the new couple that had moved in across the street recently. They were new to the block and this would be their first time interacting with all the neighbors. I looked forward to hosting them and welcoming them to the neighborhood. I finished up what I was doing and then headed up to my bedroom to take a shower and get dressed. It was a warm summer day and I decided to throw on a nice tank top that would show a bit of cleavage and my short black shorts that my husband loved. I got myself all fixed up and then headed out to the backyard to get everything started. My husband was warming up the grill, as I set the tables, and waited for the neighbors to start showing up.
