This is a very quick story. It's sort of a work in progress. I had too many ways to start it. No much plot at the moment. Feed back welcome, just be nice about it. Thanks.

It's been said many times before, but sex is the worst reason to get married. Don't get me wrong, marriage is great, and it is full of benefits other than sex. In fact, these often end up taking the place of sex as time goes on. All of my married friends agree to this. It's not that sex isn't important, it's just that life has a way of intervening.

There are times when I think that the telephone is a Victorian era invention to make coital interruption easier for people opposed to sex for pleasure. The number of times my wife and I have started to make love only to have it interrupted by a family or work crises could drive even the most tech savvy to become a Luddite.

My wife and I had moved to the Pacific Northwest because we love the area. We love everything about it from the food, to the culture, and even the weather. Seriously, we love living in place with two seasons: the rainy season and August. The move seemed so perfect. The one thing that we had underestimated when we moved was the amount of time we would be spending apart.

We both landed great jobs. Mine in Seattle, Michelle's in Tacoma. Not ...
