An Interesting Way To Spend My Summer By Sureshot

My name is Christopher Green. I just finished my junior year of college at the University of Georgia, majoring in sports medicine/physical therapy. I carry a 3.95 GPA and simply love my studies. I have lived in Cherokee County, Georgia all of my life. I am 6'3" and weigh 215. I play baseball for the Dawgs and am a starting pitcher.

With two weeks to go till the end of the school year, I opened my mail one day and received a letter from Karrin (pronounced "CAR-in") Dobbs, a long-time neighbor of ours. When I was much younger, Karrin and her husband Rich would occasionally watch my sister and me while our parents were away on business. They were often at our home for a barbeque during the nice summer months. Karrin and Rich had no children and that was by design. Back in January, Rich was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting while on a business trip in Minneapolis. It was something that gripped our entire neighborhood and there was a haze of gloom over us for months.

I sat back on my couch and read Karrin's letter. "Dear Christopher, Please don't be shocked to receive a letter from me. Your family has been such a tremendous support to me since Rich was killed. I never fully thanked you for being a pallbearer, too. What I need is your help. I know you will be coming home soon for the summer and I want you to work for me.
