We headed out to what we were sure was going to be another boring Christmas party that my company puts on every year. The wife really was dreading it. The only good part of it is that the company has the party at a nice hotel and puts everyone up in a room for the night. We got to the party and as if things could not get any worse we were put at a table with two of the company executives and their wife's. along with a couple of the good guys and the last seat was a real good guy that retired ten years ago.

The dinner went okay and even though we had to deal with a lot of stuffy conversation we made it. After the dinner everything was cleared off and the band started playing. With the customary Christmas songs and then finally getting into some dance music. I am not much of a dancer so I told Alyssa she was welcomed to dance with someone. She said well since nearly everyone here is with their spouses there is not much to work with. I said Henry is here alone and she could dance with him.. She asked him was he a dancer and he told her he was not much of a dancer of this type of music but if something a little slower come on he would love to dance. So she got up and her and a couple of the wifes danced in a group for a couple of dances.
