This is the eighth part, of many, about me and one incredible year in my life. I want to make it clear that everything in these stories is true. In a couple of instances where my memory failed me (it has been a dozen years) I have taken a few liberties but have based them on the facts I do remember. The names, except my own, have been changed and a few minor alterations were made to meet the requirements of this site. I've tried to capture as best I can the detail of each of these moments. I made it to Anna'a bread shop just after eleven. She had put off having her break as late as possible. I smiled and waved at Lisa, who was serving a customer. Then Anna got her break, so the two of us went outside and sat at a table under a big spreading tree.

"Thank God I've only got two hours to go. I'm so tired," Anna said, biting into a roll and offering me some. I shook my head.

"I'm wide awake now, unlike this morning," I smiled.

"I know. I bet you were asleep before I even got outside." I laughed and admitted she was right.
