A few days ago, after my husband and I had yet another argument about me sitting around the house too much, he suggested that I needed to get out more. He was off of work at the time because of the winter and I had been out of a job for quite a while. I hadn't had much luck in finding a new job and was definitely spending a lot of time around the house. He said that he didn't like seeing me hanging around so much and that I was getting too comfortable staying home. I really didn't understand why he would want me out of the house but instead of arguing about it, I decided to take his advice and go out for a night. I knew that a couple of my friends always spent their Friday nights at a local pub so I decided if my husband wanted me to get out more often, then I would go out and enjoy myself. Who knows, maybe he was right. Maybe I needed to get out and enjoy some time to myself. I let him know that I was going to go out for a few hours on Friday night and it was almost like he didn't care. He just nodded and asked me if I needed some money. I told him that I was fine and he replied by telling me to go out and have a great time.

Friday arrived and after having dinner, I got ready to go out. I threw on a pair of dress pants as well as a dress shirt and once I was ready I headed out.
