Cole wandered the party visiting with various co workers after having a plate of good bbq made by the friend he rode with. Usually he went to these gatherings with his wife of twenty years but they had separated about a year ago and this marked the first time he had gone out to hang out with some of his friends.

Rusty and Ruth had this annual outdoor bbq party to celebrate their birthdays that were within a few days of each other and invited many people from the large plant where they all worked. Not many people knew of Cole's separation as he kept things to himself so there were still some that asked where his other half was which he politely told them she had other things to do.

Cole was in his mid forties and still in great shape from regular workouts and sporting activity through a local recreation league. He was black but had a mixture of Indian which lightened his skin to more of a brown color with brown eyes and very short hair. He hadn't really looked for a replacement for his wife since the separation as he didn't feel the need to prove anything to himself but that didn't mean he didn't engage in some flirting and playful banter with some of his female co workers.
