Sally part 4: Bed before coffee

I rolled over and my arm went around a man; now when I lay down there was definitely no man next to me. I opened my eyes and looked straight into a pair of deep blue eyes. They were set in a rugged, well groomed, face topped with some sandy, greying hair and a big wide smile. "Well if I knew that I'd wake up next to you, I'd buy this bed immediately ..." he grinned.

I started upright. I had been shopping in John Lewis for a new mattress for my bed. I'm sorry to startle you," and he got up and talking to the shop assistant started trying some different ones. He was well dressed, well-groomed and had a hint of a cologne; mmm he was gorgeous.

All I really wanted to do, was to lie down next to him and see where it might lead, but I stammered at the shop assistant that I'd try my bed at home and then come back in and choose one. I needed a coffee, so I walked to the café and ordered a black Americano. There weren't many tables free and I managed to find one and sat down. ...
