A while back when we had been married for a few years my brother who is a couple years younger got involved with the wrong crowd and ended up having to serve a couple years for his actions. I supported him and even lent money for his lawyer but the best that could be done was to take his agreed time of two years. Of course this had to be presented to the judge for final approval.
