Megan cruised down the highway, and attempted to pay attention to the Doctor Who audio book which played through her iPod. She glanced in the rearview mirror to see a big smile plastered across her face. Her and Joel's re-commitment ceremony and second honeymoon went well, fantastically well. After all, she worked very hard to make sure it was a memorable affair--and in so doing hoped it would make up for the "little" indiscretion she had leading up to the weekend.

As the thought of that event entered her mind, the smile began to fade from her cute face. The memory of what happened that day, of the events that occurred simply from trying to seek shelter from the heavy rain, now seemed like a distant dream, a dream she couldn't help but begin to reminisce on. Awhile later, she approached the exit ramp to the hotel she and what's his name spent the night. She passed by and stared straight ahead almost without a thought.

When she approached the exit further down, she glanced in its direction. Megan took a deep breath and at the last second, pulled off onto the ramp. With a sigh, she headed toward the porn shop, calling herself stupid over and over in her mind. She pulled into the parking lot and turned off the ignition. She sat for a moment, hands still on the wheel, staring at the door, before she got out and entered the store.
