Ok, so maybe that wasn't the most articulate response ever given to that question, but I suppose I did catch him a little off guard. I mean, really, how often does that question fly out of the mouth of your childhood platonic best friend with no warning?

Tyler and I had been friends since pre-school. We had met at one of the many activities my parents had enrolled me in, and when our mothers learned we lived on the same block, we found ourselves thrown together constantly. We were in many of the same activities, our parents babysat for each other, and then of course we ended up at the same school. We weren't always tight friends, but it seemed that every couple years at least we'd drift back together and hang out a lot.
