Dear Shelly,

I left this note on the bedside table for my wife the night before our anniversary. We'd already packed up our two kids and sent them to my in-laws for the weekend so we could relax and enjoy ourselves. Shelly woke up on Saturday morning to the note while I was in the kitchen making her coffee and when I finally made it back to our bedroom she smiled and nodded which made me smile. I handed her her favourite latte and told her that she had 45 minutes to get ready for our massages. She didn't say a word, took a sip of her coffee and then headed into our bathroom. When I heard the water start, I went into our closet and pulled out her favourite pair of jeans, a sweater that fit her snug and showed off her figure and some red lacy underwear. I left these all on the bed and headed downstairs to tidy up. Right on time, Shelly came down wearing exactly what I'd left out. She gave me a big hug and whispered thank you in my ear. With that, I grabbed the car keys and off we went.
