This took place during college. I was living with one of my best friends from childhood.

Drew and I had been friends since kindergarten. He had the crayons I wanted, I had the coloring books. We were basically inseparable since then. The big difference was I was a bit of a jock (captain of the soccer team) and he was a bit of a band geek (sousaphone player). But other than that, we were as thick as thieves.

Drew had two younger siblings, a brother three years younger than us and a sister four years younger than us. Alex was a lot like Drew but quieter. Chelsea was a cute kid but kind of mouthy. As a kid, she mouthed off often and we'd mess with her. One day, she said something so Drew and I hid cheese in her room. Another time, their mom had bought a frozen cherry pie to bake at a later date. Chelsea found it and ate it raw. While she was eating it, she said it wasn't very good. We pointed out it needed to be baked and started calling her cherry pie.

Drew and I went off to college. As we were away, Chelsea grew. She went from an awkward but cute kid to a knockout.
