Emily stepped off the train in the strange, new city. She slowly walked down the platform towards the terminal, taking in the sights. She left the terminal and slowly made her way into the city. She walked up the closest hill and was able to see nearly forever. She could see the Fortress Alcatraz in the bay and Twin Peaks loomed in the distance above the fog. She took her time looking as far as she could, then she set off to explore the city. She wandered through Chinatown and rode a cable car to the pier. She sat at the counter and ordered some food. She sang along with the radio as she sipped her coffee. The cook stood in the kitchen window and listened to her chirp away, I'm singing in the rain, just singing in the rain, what a glorious feeling, I'm happy again... She noticed he was paying attention. "I'm sorry. Was I bothering you?" She was a little embarrassed.

"No, Sweet Cheeks." He left the kitchen and stood across the counter from her. "You sing away. It's nice to hear such a beautiful voice. I'm Willy."
