There is a house at the edge of a small village I pass as I cycle to work. Been passing it for years. It is a pretty stone cottage with a beautiful garden. Other than that, nothing remarkable about it. About a year ago some alterations were done. An existing extension was extended upwards changing it from single storey to two storey. The new part was thatched where previously it had a tile roof. This made it tie in with the rest of the house so much better. Still nothing too remarkable really.The alterations meant that there was now an upstairs window on the end wall, facing directly along the road in the direction from which I approach in the mornings. Now this is where remarkable things began.

I suppose the new extension had been finished a month or so, when one morning I rode down the hill towards the house. The light was on in the room behind the new window - presumably a bedroom. At the window was a woman, standing topless looking up the road. A nice treat on a cold spring morning was all I thought of it. I never expected it to be repeated. However, the next morning, she was there again, much to my surprise. I only saw her for about a second on both occasions as I zipped down the hill. She looked very attractive from what little time I had to see. Of course the next morning, and the next several after that I looked out for her. But predictably she was not there. I had just happened to be in the right place at the right time, and she had obviously worked out that passers-by on the quiet little used road could see into her new bedroom. ...
