A short time later I stepped out of Luke's car and we walked through the entrance gate to the mini-golf place.

"It looks busy" he said shyly

"Oh I think it's school holidays" I replied, looking at the mass of screaming children and tired looking adults.

"Oh no! I'm so sorry" he groaned, "I should have booked ahead but I totally forgot. We can still grab that drink if you'd like?" he gestured towards the noisy bar area.

"That's ok" I smiled, "I think I'd rather get a drink somewhere a little quieter" "Do you drink wine?" he asked "Of course!" I replied enthusiastically "How about we have a movie night with a bottle of wine instead of...this" he gestured around at the chaos. "I'd like that" I smiled

"It's kinda cold!" I said pulling the heavy blanket up to my neck and brushing my feet on his leg. We had made a nest of blankets on his bed in front of the TV.

"Oh you really are cold!" he laughed, half turning to wrap his arm around me and letting my cold feet rub his warm legs.
