Flowers ordered? Check. The caterer had been called. Everything was falling into place, as Amy scanned her eyes down the list of wedding tasks to be accomplished. The big day was only three weeks away, and only a few items were left to be taken care of.

Eyes straining, she looked through the front windshield of her car, at the anonymously unimposing suburban office complex before her. 2:57pm, almost time to head in. She looked back at the list. Wedding gift for Luke....no check.

She'd struggled for months, trying to come up with something extra special for the man she loved. Nothing seemed just right, she'd lamented to her best friend. She'd been friends with Cassidy since grade school, though they couldn't be more different. Where Amy was shy and had only dated a few boys, Cassidy was experience, and always seemed to have a new guy. Until Cassidy met Don, that is.
