Homicide Detective Iosefa "Joe" Teo was in an exceptionally good mood. After three months The Fisherman Task Force finally had three viable suspects. He dispatched detectives to locate the owners of The Grass is Greener Landscaping and Pest Patrol exterminators. Detective Charlie Parker had showed him their homes and businesses on Google Maps and described their seclusion. She didn't think either was the killer but he was eager to eliminate them as suspects.

They were brought into the station and set up in interrogation rooms. He let Charlie interrogate Brian Hastings, the owner of The Grass is Greener Landscaping. He was a burly guy in his forties with a receding hairline and short graying dark hair. He nervously bounced his leg under the table as he sat alone in the interrogation room. His square face filled with worry. Joe watched as Charlie entered the room smiling, a file in her hand. She shook hands with Hastings and sat down on the chair across the table from him.

"I appreciate you coming in to help us, Mr. Hastings."

"Your guys didn't really give me much of a choice." He sounded miffed.
