I've been wanting to share the story of my awakening. It's been a few years now but I still get warm any time I think about it. Prior to this weekend, my sex life had been pretty vanilla as they say. I had been with a handful of guys and I enjoyed sex as much as anyone I suppose. But after this particular weekend my life was never the same.

Let me tell you a little about me. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest (or NorthWet as we sometimes call it). I was pretty average in most things and enjoyed the usual stuff. I've never been a "babe" but I guess I'm alright and I was blessed with a decent body. I lost my virginity my junior year in high school with a guy I knew. It was definitely less than overwhelming as far as that goes. My parents did alright but there were four kids and I knew they probably would not have the money to pay for college. I did not have the grades to earn a great scholarship either. So,I joined the Army after high school in order to qualify for the GI Bill.

I spent four years in the Army as a combat medic. I spent my entire enlistment with the same combat support team and did three tours in Iraq. I was the only female in the platoon and one of only a handful in the whole company. The guys I spent the most time with were always super cool and we kidded each other a lot but they never crossed any lines with me. I knew some of them were interested in me but I did not want to earn a reputation by sleeping with the guys in my unit.
