I'd known Jordan since he was my student in freshman English. He was an intelligent, well spoken young man. He was well liked by his peers and he was one of the most outgoing and confident students I'd ever had. He was a good, but not great, athlete but the combination of athletics and academics earned him a full scholarship to Georgetown and I was privileged to write him a recommendation letter when he was applying.
