Parking Lot Romance #1: Janet and The Bet

This is a true Sex, [censored] and Rock and Roll tale that I experienced when I was singing in a really good rock band back in the mid 80's here in the NY area. It really happened. I remember it like it was yesterday because it was such an erotic experience and it happened at a time in my life when I was a real alley cat with the ladies. I kept score back then. I was the lead singer of a band called Now N Then from 1980 to 1989. We were what you'd call a cover band. We did everything from 5-part harmony Acapella from the 50's to The Rolling Stones, Steely Dan and The Doobies. We were cute and charismatic, we rocked, and we packed 'em in on a regular basis. The girls adored us.

We had been playing at this club called the Hounds and Foxes on a regular basis for almost two years. We always played twice a month on alternating Saturdays and the crowd knew when to expect us.
