The music thumped at the New Years eve party, midnight and all the sillnesss of bringing in the new year and Auld Lang Syne had subsided and people were starting to drift off to go home in the early hours of the morning. Rob Hunt looked around for his wife Jessica who, come to think of it, he had not seen in a while, at least for the last half hour or so. This party was with many of Jessica' s friends and colleagues from her IT company that she worked for. Rob, a surgeon, had a whole different group of friends, mainly from the hospital that he worked at, but there was lots of cross-over of friends.

Rob was 35 and Jessica 32 and they had been married for about five years, no children yet, but recently they had decided to start trying.
