right in front of the register with a huge ‘CLEARANCE' sign on it. Tanya huffed, crossed her arms under her large chest, and put me on ignore, but Kaitlin said "Sweetheart, you can be upset later. How many bottles have you consumed?" Tanya exhaled "Three." In unison, Kaitlin and I gasped "Three?" Tanya held me again, apparently I was back off ignore, and she said "I had to go to like 9 stores, found the last three bottles, and bought them. I came back here, closed all the blinds, locked the door, got on the bed and drank one." Kaitlin was on the edge of her chair and asked "And?" I held Tanya who sighed "I love you. I finally realize that you're my everything." I looked at Kaitlin who seemed to read my mind and nodded, then asked Tanya again "And?"

I held Tanya and said "No matter what, I will never move past you or turn my back on you." Tanya blinked, stepped back, was deep in thought, then Kaitlin said "Something tells me that when all of this explodes, and I'm pretty certain that day, that moment is coming. Something tells me that when I leave his father and Stephanie breaks up with him, it won't be him choosing between me or you."

Tanya sighed, "It will be us sharing him."

Kaitlin nodded.

I just stood there staring at the bottles of ‘ENERGY'.

Tanya stared into my soul and said "I sure hope that day comes."

Kaitlin blew my mind when she said "So do I."

She sat on Tanya's bed, seemed wiped and defeated, head down, and listened. After a couple of moments, she hung up without saying goodbye and looked at me with red, tear filled eyes.

Something was definitely wrong.

Kaitlin looked at Tanya and said "Hold him? Cuddle him please?" Tanya didn't need to be asked and snuggled me, we kissed softly, then Kaitlin said "Maybe this is our penance, maybe it's the cost of all of this, but your father found the bottle of ‘ENERGY' I must have left out." Tanya tensed against me as I inhaled. Kaitlin said "So he... (deep breath)... he had it with him or something, Stephanie was complaining about you, and according to your father, she took the bottle, drank it, and you know the rest."

Tanya asked, "So Stephanie slept with his father?" Kaitlin said "I'm not upset that he had sex with Stephanie, I fully planned on telling him about us when we got home. I don't mean to sound cold, baby, but we either need to do it or let the hidden feelings tear everything apart." Kaitlin was right and I knew it. Still, despite everything I had done with the ‘ENERGY' bottles, it was shocking to hear it all spun around with dad and Stephanie.

Then Kaitlin told me the rest.

She exhaled, held my hand, then said "I'm upset because your father told me that that wasn't the first time he slept with Stephanie. To be honest, I had no idea."
