Jalen, looking around at the incredible women in his life, felt something deep in his chest.
This was...working. They were figuring it out, together.
"There's also something else to consider...what if...maybe not now but in the future...we all moved in together. Like into a big enough house for all of us?" Sydney proposed.
The room went completely silent. Jalen blinked, trying to process what Sydney had just said. He wasn't the only one. All of the other women in the room seemed caught off guard by the suggestion.
"Wait...what?" Rachel said, raising an eyebrow.
Sydney shrugged, but there was a slight nervousness in her expression. "I mean...not now. Not while we're still figuring things out, but eventually. It's something to consider." She glanced around the room. "We're already in each other's lives. We're raising our kids together whether we like it or not. Wouldn't it make sense if we at least thought about finding a house big enough for all of us?"
Kristen folded her arms, looking skeptical. "I don't know, Sydney. That's...a lot."
Megan, surprisingly, didn't dismiss it outright. "I mean, logistically, it would make sense. Jalen wouldn't have to run all over Atlanta every day just to spend time with us."
Karla tapped her fingers on her knee. "True. But...do we actually want to live together? We all love Jalen, sure, but would we love living together?"
Chrysti, who had initially been the most reluctant about this entire situation, leaned back against the couch, thinking. "I mean...I get the logic, but that would be a huge adjustment."
Heidi smiled slightly. "Honestly? I think it'd be kind of fun."
Rachel turned to Jalen, arms crossed. "Okay, Big Guy, what do you think? A house full of pregnant women and kids running around in the future? Sounds like a damn reality show."
Jalen exhaled, running a hand over his face. He had to admit, the thought of having all his women and all his children under one roof was appealing in a way. It would make things easier. It would mean never having to leave one woman just to get to another. It would mean family, all together.
But it would also be insane.
"I think," Jalen said carefully, "that it's something we should discuss over time. I'm not saying no, but it has to be something everyone is comfortable with."
Jessica, who had just started adjusting to this entire situation, finally spoke up. "I'm not against it. But I'd need my own space. Like my own wing of the house or something."
Rachel scoffed. "Look at you, already making diva demands."
Jessica shot her a look. "I know what I need to be sane. I need privacy sometimes."
Kristen sighed. "Okay, well...we don't have to figure this out tonight, but Sydney does make a good point. Maybe it's something we at least keep in mind as our kids get older."
Sydney nodded. "That's all I'm saying. Just...something to think about."
Jalen chuckled, shaking his head. "You know...some guys worry about picking between one woman, and here I am, in a room full of eight, talking about moving into one big-ass house together."
Karla smiled. "Welcome to your life, Jalen."

Given the publicity surrounding Chris Westward's arrest, and how Jalen took a bullet and still didn't back down from Chris, Jalen's contract services were now in high demand, especially from lawyers and other wealthy people who did not like Chris Westward. Jim Harbor also continued to recommend Jalen in all of his social and professional circles for any home or commercial construction needs. Jalen was now consistently taking on very high paying projects. The huge uptick in revenue allowed him to expand his business and hire more help to have projects completed faster. Moss Elite Construction quickly became a household name.
This also meant that Jalen had more flexibility since he had additional help, meaning he could spend more time with the future mothers of his children.
Jalen stepped into his newly opened renovated office space, a sleek modern setup with a team of dedicated employees managing the logistics of his growing company. The once-small operation that consisted of just him and a handful of workers was now a fully-fledged contracting firm. He was in the process of hiring project managers, office administrators, and additional skilled workers that would allow his business to take on multiple projects at once.
Jalen sat in his office, reviewing several new contracts when his assistant, Marcus, knocked on the door. "Boss, got another potential client on the line. Real estate developer looking to contract you for a luxury townhome project in Buckhead."
Jalen leaned back in his chair, rubbing his chin. "That's the third luxury project in two weeks."
Marcus chuckled. "What can I say? Word is out. If you want high-end work done, you call Moss Elite."
Jalen smiled to himself. Damn right.
************************************
The following morning, Jalen was again at his office reviewing plans for a major commercial project when his phone rang, and the caller ID flashed: Sydney Swanson.
"Hey, baby, what's up?" Jalen answered, but instead of Sydney's voice, he heard Kristen on the other end.
"Jalen, it's time. Sydney's water just broke. We're heading to the hospital now."
Jalen shot up from his desk, heart racing. "I'm on my way."
By the time Jalen arrived at the hospital, most of the other women were already there. They were waiting anxiously in the lounge area.
Sydney was in the delivery room, surrounded by nurses and doctors, her blond hair damp with sweat as she fought through the contractions. Kristen and Megan were in the room with her, providing comfort. Jalen rushed in, his heart pounding. Sydney, despite her pain, smiled weakly when she saw him.
"Took you long enough," she teased through gritted teeth.
Jalen rushed to her side, gripping her hand. "I'm here. I got you."
She squeezed his hand tight as hell, making Jalen wonder if his bones might actually break.
Kristen laughed. "Yeah, she's definitely about to push."
Sydney glared. "No shit, Kristen!"
The nurses then asked Kristen and Megan to leave as Sydney was now fully dilated and it was time to push. Once the doctor arrived, she examined Sydney and then gave the go-ahead.
"Alright, Sydney, on the next contraction, I need you to push."
Jalen leaned down, kissing Sydney's forehead. "You got this, babe. I'm right here."
Sydney nodded, gritting her teeth as she pushed with all her strength.
Ten minutes later after a lot of screaming and grunting, ...a baby's cry filled the room.
Tears welled in Sydney's eyes as the doctor lifted up their newborn son.
"Congratulations," the doctor said, "It's a healthy baby boy."
Sydney let out a shaky laugh, completely overwhelmed, as the nurses quickly cleaned the baby up before swaddling him in a soft blue blanket.
When they placed him in Sydney's arms, she immediately started crying.
"Oh my God...Julius," she whispered.
Jalen felt his chest tighten, his emotions crashing over him as he looked at his son for the first time.
His son. Julius Moss.
Jalen swallowed the lump in his throat and reached out, carefully touching the tiny hand of his newborn.
"Hey, little man..." Jalen whispered, his voice thick with emotion. "Welcome to the world."
Sydney looked up at him, tears still in her eyes, but smiling brighter than ever. "We did it."
Jalen kissed her gently. "You did it. I'm so proud of you."
Jalen's heart had never felt fuller. Pamela Swanson arrived sometime later and she nearly cried herself when she got to hold her grandson for the first time. She and Sydney further bonded over the new life that they were holding.
This was just the beginning, but it was the most beautiful start Jalen could have hoped for.
*******************************************
For the next several weeks, Jalen spent all his free time with Sydney and baby Julius.
One night, Jalen was at Sydney's condo, rocking baby Julius in his arms while Sydney sat nearby, still recovering but glowing with happiness. The past three weeks had been an intense adjustment, learning how to function on minimal sleep, figuring out Julius' feeding schedule, and soaking in every moment of fatherhood.
Then, his phone rang.
Karla. Jalen answered, already knowing what this was.
"Jalen, Kristen's in labor. We're on the way to the hospital now."
Jalen felt his pulse spike. It was happening again.
************************************************
By the time Jalen arrived at the hospital, the others were already there gathered in the waiting room. Sydney had to stay home with baby Julius, but she had sent Kristen an encouraging voice message, reminding her she would be just fine.
Jalen rushed through the halls, finally making it to Kristen's room. She was sitting up in bed, breathing heavily, her dark brown hair damp from exertion, her makeup slightly smudged, but still looking stunning.
Her piercing eyes locked onto Jalen the moment he entered.
"Took your damn time." She managed to smile between contractions.
Jalen chuckled, sitting beside her and taking her hand. "You ready, babe?"
Kristen rolled her eyes, gripping his hand tightly. "Does it matter if I'm ready? This baby is coming whether I like it or not."
Megan was at Kristen's other side, rubbing her back. "You got this, girl. Deep breaths."
The doctor stepped in. "Alright, Kristen. It's time to push."
Jalen stayed close, whispering encouragement as Kristen pushed through the pain. Forty agonizing minutes later, another cry filled the room. Kristen gasped, tears immediately welling in her eyes as she collapsed back against the bed.
"It's a girl!" the doctor announced.
Kristen let out a watery laugh, her chest rising and falling heavily. A daughter.
Jalen's throat tightened as he stared at the tiny, wriggling newborn in the nurse's arms. Kristen wiped away tears as the nurse placed the swaddled baby into her arms. She was tiny, pink, and perfect.
Kristen looked up at Jalen, her expression softer than he had ever seen it.
"Jalen, meet Isabella Moss."
Jalen exhaled sharply, his heart swelling as he reached out, touching his daughter's tiny fingers. His baby girl. He felt the emotions rise in his chest.
"Isabella..." he whispered. "She's beautiful."
Kristen smiled softly. "We can call her Bella."
Jalen leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to Kristen's forehead before looking at his daughter. He stroked Bella's tiny fingers, overwhelmed with emotion.
"Hey, Bella," he whispered. "I'm your dad."
Kristen watched him with silent affection, blinking away tears, and Jalen leaned down to kiss both his daughter and Kristen's forehead again. Another piece of his family had just arrived.
********************************************
Kristen and Sydney decided that they would live together with their babies for a while so it would be easier for Jalen to be there for both of them and the babies. Kristen had a bigger place, so they stayed there. Jalen was incredibly grateful for Kristen and Sydney's decision to live together because it made things more manageable for him as he balanced his time between all eight women and their growing families. Kristen's place was spacious, comfortable, and had plenty of room for both babies to have their own nursery spaces.
For the first couple of weeks, Jalen practically lived there, making sure both Sydney and Kristen had everything they needed. He helped with late-night feedings, changed diapers, and even learned how to swaddle the babies properly. Whenever one of them was exhausted, he'd take over completely, letting them rest.
One evening, as Jalen rocked baby Bella in his arms while Sydney nursed Julius on the couch, Kristen looked over at him and smiled.
"You're a natural," she said.
Jalen chuckled. "I don't know about that. I'm just trying not to screw up."
Sydney smiled. "Well, you're doing a great job. We both appreciate you, babe."
He looked at both women, overwhelmed with emotion. "I appreciate y'all too. More than you know."
Sydney and Kristen's bond also strengthened during this time. They leaned on each other for support, sharing the responsibilities of motherhood while adjusting to their new normal. Jalen couldn't have asked for a better situation. It gave him a little peace of mind knowing that they had each other whenever he wasn't there. Despite the chaos of newborns, late nights, and endless diaper changes, there was a sense of warmth and unity in Kristen's home.
****************************************
A month later, Jalen was running on pure adrenaline at this point, bouncing between hospitals, caring for newborns, and making sure each of the women felt loved and supported.
When Megan went into labor, Jalen rushed to the hospital and was by her side the entire time. It was a long, exhausting labor, but Megan was a fighter, and when baby Noah Moss was finally born, Jalen felt his heart swell with pride and love all over again. Megan, sweaty and exhausted, still managed to smile at Jalen as she held their son for the first time.
"He really is perfect," she whispered.
Jalen kissed her forehead. "Just like his mama."
Megan had chosen to recover at home rather than stay longer at the hospital, so Jalen was ready to set up whatever she needed to make sure she was comfortable. But just as he was about to get some much-needed rest, his phone rang.
It was Rachel.
"Jalen," she said, her voice strained. "I think...I think it's happening."
Jalen felt his heart stop for a second. Rachel wasn't due for another few weeks.
"I'm on my way," he said immediately.
Rushing to the hospital yet again, Jalen found Rachel already in the delivery room. Things were progressing fast. Rachel, normally composed and in control, was panicked.
"This isn't supposed to happen yet," she said, gripping his hand tightly. "It's too early."
Jalen cupped her face. "Hey, look at me. You and the baby are going to be okay. I promise."
A few hours later, Rachel gave birth to a baby boy, Devin Moss. He was small but healthy, and as soon as Rachel held him, she broke down in tears. Jalen sat on the edge of the hospital bed, wrapping an arm around Rachel as she looked at their tiny son.
"I was so scared," she admitted. "But he's here. He's okay."
Jalen kissed the top of her head. "Yeah, he is, and so are you."
At this point, Jalen was now the father of four newborns. He wasn't sure how he was still functioning, but he wouldn't trade this for anything.

A few weeks later, Jessica sat in the dimly lit office of the Ice and Flame Club, her long red acrylic nails drumming idly on the armrest of the chair. She had been called in for a private meeting with the club's owner, Victor Russo, and the two managers, Greg Dulan and Lenny Spatz. She already had an idea of what this was about, and she was trying to maintain her composure, but her agitation was already getting the better of her.
Across from her, Victor leaned forward, folding his hands together on his mahogany desk. He was a middle-aged man with slicked-back dark hair, a neatly trimmed beard, and a tailored suit that screamed "mob-adjacent businessman." His cold blue eyes studied her like a calculation, like she was a product rather than a person.
Greg, one of the managers, cleared his throat. "Jessica, first off, congratulations on your pregnancy." His voice was polite, but there was an undertone of unease.
Jessica raised an eyebrow, waiting for the "but."
"But..." Lenny, the other manager, jumped in, shifting in his seat. "We have some concerns. You're a huge draw here. One of our biggest attractions. People come to see you, the Jessica Robinson that embodies fantasy, seduction, and mystery. And, well...your condition kind of...changes things."
Jessica crossed her legs, adjusting the sparkling burgundy dress she had worn today, purposely leaning into the "Jessica Robinson" persona they were so concerned about.
"Changes things how?" She asked coolly.
Victor exhaled through his nose, as if trying to frame his words carefully. "Look, Jess. You know we love you here. You bring in serious money, but we can't ignore the fact that part of your appeal is...let's say...your image. The sultry songstress. The unattainable goddess. The woman every man in this city would give his soul to touch. That's the fantasy we sell, and it works."
Jessica remained silent, her jaw tightening.
Greg continued, "The thing is, pregnancy, it's beautiful, sure, but it shifts how the audience perceives you. You won't be the same Jessica they fantasize about when you're visibly pregnant."
Jessica tilted her head, her expression unreadable. "So, what exactly are you saying?"
Victor leaned back in his chair. "We need to think about what's best for business. If your presence starts affecting revenue, we may have to consider making some adjustments to your performances...or pausing them entirely."
Jessica felt a slow burn of anger creep up her spine. Pausing? Adjustments? She had worked her ass off to become a name at this club. These men had profited off her talent, off the character they had helped mold, but the second she became a real person, a woman embracing motherhood, they saw it as a liability.
She let out a short, humorless laugh. "So let me get this straight. You think people won't pay to see me anymore just because I'm pregnant?"
Lenny hesitated. "Well...we're just trying to be realistic."
Jessica's lips curled into a smirk, though there was zero warmth behind it. "Let's be real, then. You're not worried about business. You're worried about men. Men who like to pretend they have a shot with me when they watch me sing. Men who spend money here thinking I belong to them, not realizing that I never belonged to anyone but myself."
Victor sighed. "Jessica—"
"No, let me finish," she said, her voice cutting through the room. "You think this pregnancy is gonna ruin my appeal? That people won't want to see me anymore? Then why don't we test that theory?"
Greg and Lenny exchanged uneasy glances.
Jessica stood up, adjusting her dress. "I'll keep performing. If attendance drops, if sales dip, then we can talk about changes, but until that happens, I expect to be treated like the top-billed act I am." She leaned down slightly, looking Victor directly in the eye. "Because let's face it, Victor, you and I both know this club needs me more than I need it."
Victor studied her for a long moment, then let out a slow chuckle. "You're a tough one, Jess."
She smiled coolly. "That's why people pay to see me."
Victor tapped his fingers on his desk. "Fine. We'll do it your way. For now."
Jessica nodded, already knowing she had won. "Glad we understand each other."
She turned on her red-bottomed heels and walked out, her head held high, but as she stepped out of the office and into the main club, a realization settled in her chest. This place? This wasn't her forever. Maybe it was time to start thinking bigger.
*************************************
"Fuck them." Jalen said to Jessica later that day. His words were firm, his voice laced with frustration as he sat across from Jessica at Kristen's place. He was holding Julius while feeding him with a bottle of warm pumped milk from Sydney. Sydney was in the bedroom napping. Jessica had come over after leaving the Ice and Flame Club because this was the only way she could see Jalen in person given how tied up he was these days. She had just finished telling him about her meeting with Victor, Greg, and Lenny, and how they had tried to reduce her worth to nothing more than a fantasy, something that could be discarded the moment she no longer fit their mold.
Jessica sat on the couch, her legs tucked underneath her, still in the burgundy wrap dress she had worn to the meeting, while her heels had been placed neatly on the floor nearby. She absentmindedly traced the rim of her water glass with her long red acrylic nails, thinking about the conversation over and over again.
"You don't need to diminish your magic for anyone," Jalen continued, leaning forward, his elbows resting on his knees. "Especially not for some sleazy men just wanting to fuck you."
Jessica let out a short, bitter laugh. "Tell that to Victor and his little board of misogynists. To them, I'm not an artist. I'm not a woman with actual talent. I'm just a product they're selling to desperate men."
Jalen shook his head, his jaw clenching. "Then maybe it's time to take back your power. You said it yourself—you don't need that place. They need you. So why the hell are you still letting them control your narrative?"
Jessica looked up at him, her green eyes sharp. "What do you mean?"
"I mean," Jalen said, sitting back and folding his arms, "why not start your own thing? Your own venue. Your own stage. Something where you call the shots. No greasy club owners deciding when and how you get to be seen."
Jessica scoffed. "That sounds great, Jalen, but you do realize that requires a lot of money, right? A venue, staff, licensing, permits... I don't exactly have millions lying around."
Jalen gave her a knowing smirk. "But Megan does."
Jessica blinked. "What?"
Jalen shrugged. "Megan just won millions from that bastard Chris. And she's been using a good chunk of it to support women in tough situations. You think she wouldn't be thrilled to help you start something that empowers women instead of exploiting them?"
Jessica stared at him, her mind racing. The idea had never even crossed her mind, but now that Jalen had said it out loud, she realized how obvious it was. She didn't have to keep letting other people decide her worth. She could own it. She could be the boss.
"You really think she'd do that?" Jessica asked after a long pause.
Jalen grinned. "I think Megan loves making arrogant men realize they don't own shit, and I think she'd love to see you make Victor sweat."
Jessica chuckled, shaking her head in disbelief. "Damn. I never even thought about that."
Jalen reached over, tucking a loose strand of her voluminous auburn hair behind her ear. "Then maybe it's time to start thinking bigger, Jess. No more letting small men put you in a box."
Jessica smirked, her confidence rekindling. "You know what? You might be right."
Jalen winked. "I usually am. Also, if you're not sure about opening up your own place of business, maybe consider doing an album? You have a story, and I think there are millions out there who would love to hear it. We already know damn well you can sing."
Jessica's eyebrows lifted in genuine surprise as she stared at Jalen, her mind struggling to catch up with the wild suggestion he had just thrown at her.
Jalen just shrugged seeing her expression and continued.
"I mean... yeah. Why not? You already got a fanbase. You already know damn well you can sing. Why limit yourself to one stage when you could be in millions of ears?"
Jessica scoffed, shaking her head with a smirk. "Jalen, do you have any idea what it takes to make an album? It's not just about walking into a studio and belting out some songs. There's songwriting, production, marketing—"
"And money?" Jalen interrupted, tilting his head. "Because I know money ain't the issue."
Jessica paused. That was true. She had plenty saved up from her years performing, not to mention her ridiculous tips from wealthy men desperate for her attention. Then if Megan was really willing to back her, finances wouldn't even be a concern.
Jalen leaned forward, resting his chin on his hand. "Come on, Jessica. I know you. You don't just love singing, you need it. It's who you are now, and I know you got a hell of a story to tell." Jessica bit her lip. She did have a story and a damn good one. A story about a girl named Jennifer Rollins who had to become Jessica Robinson to survive. Who had spent years being the fantasy that men paid to see, all while hiding the real woman underneath. A story about finding herself, finding love, and finally taking control.
For the first time, she actually pictured it. Her voice coming through speakers, telling the world who she really was on her terms.
"...You really think people would listen?" she asked softly.
Jalen chuckled. "Jessica, people would worship that album."
Jessica smirked. "Now you're just gassing me up."
Jalen grinned. "That's my job, baby."
Jessica leaned back into the couch, exhaling slowly. "Damn. First, you're telling me to open my own club, now you're trying to turn me into a global superstar?"
Jalen shrugged. "Why the hell not?"
Jessica laughed, shaking her head. "You're insane."
Jalen leaned in, brushing his lips softly against hers. "Nah. I just believe in you."
Jessica's heart skipped a beat. Maybe... It was time she believed in herself too.
****************************************************
"Yes. Let's do it." Megan said.
"You didn't even let me finish!" Jessica responded.
"I already know what you're about Jessica. And I fucking love it. You told me how you and Jalen fell in love and how you became who you are, and if that's the story you're telling, then hell yes I want to hear that album." Megan responded. "I love supporting bad ass women who have no time for weak men."
It was one week later, and Jessica was sitting in Megan's living room having come over to tell her about her idea to do an album. Megan was breastfeeding Noah in her sling while simultaneously listening to Jessica tell her about her potential album.
Jessica blinked at Megan, still caught off guard by her instant enthusiasm. She had barely even processed the idea herself, and here Megan was, already all in.
"You didn't even hesitate," Jessica said, still sounding stunned.
Megan grinned. "Why the fuck would I? This is a no-brainer."
Jessica crossed her arms, narrowing her eyes. "I don't know... feels a little too easy. What's in it for you?"
Megan smirked. "I get to watch you own your story. And I get to say, ‘I helped make that happen.'" She shrugged. "Plus, I'm a sucker for watching strong women win. I love it when men underestimate us and we prove them wrong."
Jessica exhaled sharply, shaking her head with a small smile. "You're serious?"
"Dead-ass." Megan leaned forward. "Jessica, you need to do this. You just got done telling me how much you hate feeling like your career is at the mercy of sleazy men at that club. So why not say fuck them and build something they can't touch?"
Jessica drummed her fingers against the armrest, still processing.
Megan leaned back, wrapping her arms more securely around Noah. "Look, if it's about resources, I got money. We can hire the best producers, best songwriters, whatever the hell you need. But if you want this album to be raw, real, and you, then I know you got the voice and the story to back it up."
Jessica glanced at Jalen, who was watching the exchange with undeniable pride. The man had been telling her the exact same thing just a week ago.
She let out a deep breath. "Okay... then let's make a damn album."
Megan grinned. "Now that's what I'm talking about."
Jalen smiled, wrapping an arm around Jessica's waist. "Told you people would wanna hear your story."
Jessica shook her head in amusement, but deep down, something new was bubbling inside her: excitement. For the first time in a long time, she wasn't just playing the role of Jessica Robinson.
She was about to show the world Jessica Rollins.
*********************************************
A few weeks after Jessica's conversation with Megan, it was finally Karla's turn to go into labor.
Jalen had been on edge the past few days, knowing her due date was creeping closer, but when the call finally came—"Jalen, it's time."—he felt it in his soul.
The labor was long. Karla, ever the strong-willed woman, handled it with gritted teeth and fierce determination. Jalen never left her side, holding her hand through every contraction, whispering reassurances in her ear.
Then, at 3:43 AM, after what felt like an eternity... Elena Silva-Moss was born.
Karla, exhausted but beaming, held their baby girl for the first time, tears slipping down her face. "Hi, mi amor..." she whispered, brushing a gentle finger along her tiny cheek.
Jalen, overwhelmed, kissed Karla's forehead, then their daughter's.
"Elena..." he murmured, saying her name out loud for the first time since the night they first talked about it months back. It felt right.
He looked down at Karla, who was watching him with tired but deeply content eyes.
"You did amazing," he told her softly.
Karla smirked weakly. "I know." Then she looked down at their daughter and smiled. "But I think she did even better."
Jalen chuckled. "Yeah. She's already a fighter. Just like her mom."
They sat in peaceful silence, soaking in this new, surreal reality. Their baby girl was here, and like the others, she was perfect.
*******************************************
Megan knew firsthand how overwhelming motherhood could be, and after Karla gave birth to Elena, it only made sense to bring their growing family together.
So, she reached out to Karla and Rachel, suggesting they stay at her house for a while.
"We need to support each other," Megan said. "And let's be real, Jalen is going to be running around like a madman trying to be everywhere at once. This will make it easier for him and for us."
Rachel, still adjusting to life as a new mom with Devin, agreed immediately. She liked the idea of being around the other women who understood this unique situation.
Karla, initially hesitant because she was used to being independent, eventually saw the value in it.
"Fine. But only if I get first dibs on the wine once we're all done breastfeeding."
Megan laughed. "Deal."
A few days after they'd moved in together, when Jalen came over to visit and saw all three women and their babies in one house, he was floored.
"This...is a whole daycare," he joked, looking around at the baby gear now filling Megan's home.
Megan smiled. "You're welcome."
Karla rolled her eyes. "We're making life easier for you, so don't get cocky."
Jalen chuckled but felt deeply moved. Seeing them together, all supporting each other, made him realize something:
They weren't just co-parents. They were becoming a real family.
And for the first time in weeks, he felt a little bit of peace.
******************************************
One month later, Heidi's labor began early in the morning. She had been feeling mild contractions throughout the night but didn't think much of it until the pain intensified just before dawn. She had planned to call Jalen only when she was certain it was happening, but at 5:30 AM, she realized this was it.
Despite her initial plan to handle things independently, the moment the pain hit full force, she grabbed her phone and called Jalen.
Jalen, who had been running on limited sleep from balancing work, newborn visits, and the other pregnancies, answered immediately, his voice alert despite the grogginess in his eyes.
"It's time?" he asked, already throwing the sheets off.
"It's time," Heidi confirmed, her voice tight with nerves.
Jalen wasted no time. Within 15 minutes, he was at her door having just come from Kristen's place. Heidi was already dressed in comfortable clothes, bag packed and ready, though the moment she saw him, she exhaled deeply, allowing herself to lean on him.
By noon, Kayla Moss was born. A beautiful baby girl, incredibly with a full head of soft auburn hair, a feature she had inherited from her mother. Heidi had never felt more exhausted, more overwhelmed... or more in love than she did the moment they placed Kayla in her arms.
Jalen sat beside her, awe-struck yet again, as he had been for every birth before this. But something about each moment felt different. Kayla let out soft cries before settling in her mother's arms, her tiny hands already gripping onto Heidi's finger tightly.
"She's amazing," Heidi whispered.
Jalen gently ran a finger over his daughter's tiny cheek. "She really is."
Despite all the emotions swirling inside her, Heidi looked up at Jalen and, for the first time since she found out she was pregnant, she let herself cry in front of him. Not just from pain, not from fear, but from relief. She had done it. She was a mother now.
And when Jalen took Kayla in his arms for the first time, she knew, without a doubt, that her daughter had the best father in the world.
Heidi's younger sister, Leslie Horner, showed up a couple of hours later and both she and Heidi cried tears of happiness together as Leslie held her niece for the first time.
Later, as Heidi rested, Jalen sat in the hospital chair holding Kayla, watching her tiny chest rise and fall as she slept. Leslie had left by this point.
That was six. Six children now. Two more still on the way. The weight of it all pressed on him again, but this time, it wasn't just the stress of managing it all. It was the magnitude of the love he felt for every single one of them. Jalen had never imagined this would be his life, but as he held his newest daughter in his arms, he knew there was no other life he would choose over this one.
***************************************
After Heidi had a few days to recover at home, Megan extended the invitation for Heidi to come stay at Megan's house along with the others for a while. Karla and Rachel were already there with their babies, and it made sense for Heidi to join.
Heidi agreed, not just because it would be easier for Jalen, but because she was beginning to realize how much she appreciated having the other women in her life.
She had gone from being the girl who thought she could handle everything on her own to someone who now valued the strength of the family they were building together.
Sydney and Kristen were content with staying together at Kristen's apartment for the time being, however, they both frequently visited Megan‘s house with their children.
Meanwhile, Heidi faced another challenge along with being a new mother. She also had to make time to study for the BAR exam to become a lawyer. She had always been driven, determined, and incredibly intelligent, but balancing motherhood and preparing for the BAR exam was an entirely different level of difficulty.
Baby Kayla was just a few weeks old at this point, and as much as she adored her daughter, she knew she had to carve out time to focus on her studies.
While staying at Megan's house, where Rachel, Karla, and Megan were also adjusting to life as new moms, Heidi tried to find moments to study. Kayla's feeding schedule, her crying at odd hours, and the sheer exhaustion of being a mother made it difficult for Heidi to concentrate.
The books, notes, and practice exams piled up, and her laptop sat open, but she often found herself nodding off mid-sentence. She felt guilt. Guilt that she wasn't spending enough time with Kayla and guilt that she wasn't studying hard enough.
One evening, Rachel noticed Heidi staring blankly at her BAR prep book, her eyes barely able to stay open.
"You look like you're about two seconds away from passing out," Rachel said, rocking baby Devin in her arms.
"I can't pass out. I have to study," Heidi muttered, rubbing her temples.
Megan, sitting across from them, spoke up. "Heidi, you can't do this alone. Let us help."
Rachel nodded. "We're all in this together. You're not the only one trying to juggle a million things. We'll create a schedule where we rotate watching Kayla so you can have uninterrupted study time."
Karla, who had already gone through law school, added, "I can help you study. I'll quiz you, help break down cases, and keep you accountable. You just have to let us."
At first, Heidi hesitated. She hated asking for help. She had always been independent, tackling problems head-on, but then she looked down at her daughter, sleeping peacefully in her arms. She realized that if she wanted to give Kayla the best life possible, she had to accept help.
"Okay," she finally said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I need you guys."
Megan smiled. "We know."
Rachel grinned. "Damn right, you do."
Karla smirked. "Let's get you that lawyer title, mama."
Jalen made sure to check in with Heidi frequently. He admired her strength and determination and made sure she knew he was proud of her.
He would drop by whenever possible to bring her favorite snacks, give her massages after long study sessions, and remind her that she wasn't alone.
"You got this, Heidi," he told her one night as he tucked a blanket over her while she was studying late. "And I'm so damn proud of you."
His words lit a fire in her. She refused to let him down. She gave him a soft kiss before continuing her study session.
Over time, with the help of Karla's tutoring, Rachel's encouragement, Megan's leadership, and Jalen's unwavering support, Heidi managed to balance motherhood and studying.
When the BAR exam day finally arrived, she felt prepared, supported, and ready to conquer it.

One month later, Chrysti went into labor.
It was early morning, around 3:47 AM, when she felt the first intense contraction. She gritted her teeth, trying to breathe through it, but she knew.
It was time. She had planned to labor at home for a while, but the contractions quickly became unbearable. She called Jalen, her voice strained as she said, "It's happening."
Jalen was at her place within 20 minutes. He barely said anything. He didn't need to. He just wrapped her in a secure hug, grabbed her packed bag, and helped her into the car.
Chrysti tried to stay calm, but she was freaking out; not because of the pain, she could handle that, but because this was real now. She was about to meet her son.
By the time they arrived at Emory University Hospital, Chrysti was already 5 centimeters dilated and in excruciating pain. Jalen never left her side. He held her hand tightly as he whispered affirmations to her. He wiped the sweat off her forehead and used his other hand to occasionally rub her back.
Even when Chrysti snapped at him during a particularly painful contraction, he just smiled and said, "You're doing amazing, baby."
She hated how much that helped. By 9:13 AM, after hours of grueling labor, Chrysti gave one last push and then...
A sharp, beautiful cry filled the room. Her entire body went limp, her chest heaving as she tried to catch her breath. The doctor held up her son. Their son. Tears streamed down Chrysti's face.
Jalen, standing beside her, stared in absolute awe as the nurse placed the baby on Chrysti's chest. He was tiny and warm.
Chrysti looked down at him, her heart breaking in the best way possible.
"Hi, baby..." she whispered.
Jalen kissed the top of her head, his voice thick with emotion.
"He's beautiful, Chrysti."
They named him Adrian Moss.
Later that night, Chrysti sat in the hospital bed, holding Adrian close, watching him sleep. Jalen was in the chair beside her, half-asleep, but still holding onto her hand. For the first time in her life, Chrysti wasn't afraid anymore. She had everything she needed, right here. Her son. Her man. Her family.
And even though she knew life would be complicated, messy, and demanding, she also knew one thing for sure. She wouldn't trade it for the world.
***************************************
Jalen's mother, Deborah, had always been a steady presence in his life, but now, as she watched her son's unconventional family grow, she found herself playing an even bigger role than she ever expected. At first, she had reservations. Eight women and eight babies. A situation that made absolutely no logical sense, but she couldn't deny what was right in front of her. Her son was stepping up, and the women weren't rivals. They were sisters in this. The children, her grandchildren, were being raised in a home filled with love, security, and support.
Once she had fully absorbed and accepted the complexity of the situation, Deborah didn't hesitate to step in where she was needed. She was often there at Megan's house or Kristen's place to help with late-night feedings when the mothers were exhausted. She rocked fussy babies to sleep when their mothers needed a moment. She offered wisdom and reassurance when one of the women was feeling overwhelmed. She even cooked hearty meals for the entire household.
The women welcomed her presence with open arms. Kristen loved having another maternal figure around to help. Sydney enjoyed talking to her about balancing work and motherhood. Megan saw her as the mother figure she never really had. Rachel enjoyed the old-school wisdom she shared. Karla, Heidi, Chrysti, and even Jessica, who hadn't delivered yet, all respected her strength and warmth. Finally, Jalen felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for everything she had taught him, what she was doing now, and the love she was showing not just to him, but to all of them.
One evening, after a long day of helping with the babies, Deborah sat on the porch with Jalen, sipping a cup of tea while the sun set.
"You really did it, huh?" she said with a small smile.
Jalen chuckled. "Did what?"
"Built something special. Something... bigger than yourself."
Jalen exhaled, shaking his head. "I don't even know how the hell I got here, Ma."
Deborah smiled. "Boy, I do. You got here because you love them, and they love you. That's all that matters."
Jalen nodded. "Yeah. I just want to do right by them. By all of them."
Deborah reached over and squeezed his hand.
"You already are."
Jalen turned to look at her, his chest tightening with emotion. This was his family, and Deborah Moss, the matriarch, was right where she was meant to be.
*********************************************
It had been three long months since Heidi took the BAR exam, and today was the day the results were being released.
She sat at Megan's kitchen counter, her laptop open in front of her, staring at the official Georgia State Bar website. Her heart pounded so loudly she swore the other women could hear it. Megan, Rachel, and Karla were sitting nearby, watching her with anticipation. Her baby, Kayla, was napping in her bassinet, completely unaware that her mother was on the verge of finding out if she had officially become a lawyer.
Jalen, who had just come over, walked up behind Heidi and placed his hands on her shoulders.
"You got this," he whispered.
Heidi took a deep breath and clicked "Check My Results."
A moment of silence. Then, her eyes widened.
"Oh my God..." she whispered.
Rachel practically lunged toward the screen. "WHAT?! WHAT DOES IT SAY?!"
A slow smile crept onto Heidi's face. Then, she let out a scream of joy.
"I PASSED!"
The room erupted.
Megan jumped up from her seat, screaming. "FUCK YES!"
Rachel grabbed Heidi and shook her. "You did it, you badass bitch!"
Karla, who had mentored her through the whole process, had tears in her eyes. "I knew you would."
Jalen pulled Heidi up from her chair and hugged her tightly, lifting her off the ground. "I am so fucking proud of you, girl!"
Heidi burst into tears. All the late nights, all the exhaustion from balancing being a mother and studying, all the doubts had all been worth it. She did it. She was officially Attorney Heidi Horner. Kayla stirred in her bassinet, waking up to the sound of everyone celebrating. Jalen walked over, picked up his daughter, and brought her over to Heidi.
"Your mommy is a lawyer now, princess," he said softly, kissing Kayla's forehead before kissing Heidi's.
Heidi held her daughter close, feeling an overwhelming sense of pride and relief. She had worked her ass off, and now, she was living proof that she could balance both motherhood and a career.
"So... when do we start calling you ‘Ms. Horner, Esq.'?" Rachel teased.
Heidi wiped her tears, grinning. "Starting now."
******************************************************
One week later, it was 4:15 AM when Jessica shot awake in her bed, her body tense with pain.
At first, she wasn't sure what woke her. Then...another contraction. Her hands gripped the sheets as she sucked in a sharp breath.
"Oh, shit!"
She had been feeling some discomfort the night before, but she chalked it up to normal pregnancy symptoms. Now there was no mistaking it. She was in labor. Jessica fumbled for her phone and immediately dialed Jalen.
It rang twice before his groggy voice answered, "Hey...what's wrong?"
"Jalen, it's happening," Jessica said, trying to stay calm.
Silence. Then, instant alertness.
"I'm on my way."
By the time Jalen arrived at Jessica's penthouse, she was pacing the living room, gripping the back of the couch every time a contraction hit.
She looked stunning, even in pain, her hair still in loose waves, her nails freshly done in a light pink acrylic set. She had on a silk robe over her nightgown, but right now, none of that mattered. Jalen didn't waste a second. He wrapped an arm around her and helped her to the elevator.
"You're gonna be okay, baby. I got you."
Jessica didn't argue. She just leaned into him, letting herself trust him completely. By the time they reached Emory University Hospital Midtown, Jessica was already 6 centimeters dilated. The contractions were getting stronger and closer together. Jalen, as he'd done with the other seven, stayed at Jessica's side the entire time, holding her hand, rubbing her back, and kissing her forehead.
Jessica, normally so poised, was cursing like a sailor.
"I swear to God, Jalen, if you ever knock me up again, I'm killing you."
"Why did I let you cum inside me?! WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING?!"
Jalen just chuckled, holding her tighter. "You're doing amazing, baby."
At 9:52 AM, after hours of labor, screams, and Jessica threatening to break Jalen's fingers... A cry filled the delivery room.
Jessica's breath hitched. The doctor held up a tiny, pink, perfect baby girl.
Jalen exhaled shakily; his eyes locked on their daughter. The nurse gently placed the baby on Jessica's chest, and Jessica instantly melted.
"Hi, my love..." she whispered, her voice breaking.
Jalen kissed her temple, whispering, "There's our girl."
Jessica stared down at the tiny miracle in her arms, her heart bursting with love. They had already picked a name.
Joy Rollins-Moss.
As Jessica held her daughter for the first time, she realized something. She never knew she could love someone this much. Jalen gently brushed his fingers over Joy's tiny hand, completely in awe. He kissed Jessica deeply and whispered, "Thank you."
Jessica smiled through her happy tears. "We did it, Jalen."
Jessica sat in her hospital bed, watching Joy sleep. Jalen was beside her, his eyes closed, but still holding onto her hand.
Jessica squeezed his fingers and whispered, "I love you."
Jalen opened his eyes, looked at her with nothing but love, and said, "I love you more."
********************************************************
In the vast, infinite beyond, where time and space were meaningless to all but those who walked the mortal plane, the Beyonder watched.
He had seen every moment, every love ignited, every doubt wrestled with, and every hardship endured. Jalen Moss had done it.
Eight women. Eight children. Eight destinies now forever intertwined.
Jalen had been tested in ways no mortal man had before. He had loved fiercely, protected relentlessly, and honored every bond with unwavering devotion.
Each woman, different in spirit, had come to trust him, love him, and stand beside him, and now, their children, his legacy, had entered the world.
Julius, Isabella, Noah, Devin, Elena, Kayla, Adrian, and Joy.
The Beyonder smiled. The world had no idea what was coming, because this was only the beginning.
************************************
As the months passed and motherhood became the center of their lives, the idea of all eight women living together became less of a wild thought and more of an inevitable reality.
They had already been staying in small groups. Kristen and Sydney lived together, Megan lived with Rachel, Karla, and Heidi. Both Karla and Heidi were now balancing law and new motherhood. Jessica was still finding her footing in balancing her career with raising Joy, while Chrysti, now fully embracing her role in Jalen's life, had been adjusting to raising Adrian while still living on her own.
The more time passed, the more the idea made sense, and as crazy as it sounded, they wanted to do this together. Managing eight separate households, all with Jalen constantly bouncing between them, was exhausting, not just for him, but for them too. They relied on each other more than they expected, whether it was for late-night feedings, advice, or just a shoulder to lean on. They mothers were frequently visiting each other with their babies both because they liked seeing each other and because it was very helpful for them.
One evening, all the women gathered at Megan's house, which had slowly become the group's unofficial meeting place.
"I can't believe I'm the one saying this," Kristen said, bouncing Bella on her knee, as the topic came bubbling up again, "but... I think we should do it. We should all live together."
Sydney nodded. "We already rotate taking care of each other's kids. Why keep making it harder?"
Karla, now fully stepping into her new high-profile legal career, agreed. "And let's be honest, we'll see each other all the time anyway. Why not have a home big enough to actually live comfortably?"
"I hate to say it, but yeah, I need it, and Jalen definitely needs this too," Rachel added. "He's been running himself ragged trying to give all of us time. This would make things so much easier for everyone."
Jessica, still the newest addition to the fold, smirked. "Y'all already had this whole polygamous commune vibe going on before I even got here. You just didn't realize it."
Even Chrysti now fully understood. This was their family.
Later that night, after all eight women had agreed, they sat Jalen down. Jalen had just arrived after a late night at the office. They filled him in on their discussion and expressed their desire to make plans and arrangements to eventually move into one big place together.
"Wait, so... you all want to move in together?" he asked, stunned.
Megan smiled. "That's right, lover boy. You've officially got a village."
Jalen leaned back in his chair, rubbing his hands together, processing. This was huge. This was life-changing, and yet it made perfect sense. He looked around the room at the eight women who had changed his life. His family.
Jalen smiled. "Well then," he said, "let's find a house big enough to hold us all."

Rachel had always been hungry for more. She didn't just want to be another sports reporter, she wanted to be the best.
For years, she had put in the work, grinding away at WSB-TV, doing the usual sideline reporting for high school and college sports, and covering small-time rec league games (which, ironically, was how she met Jalen), but deep down, she had always dreamed bigger.
A year ago, when Rachel was still wrestling with self-doubt, Jalen had told her:
"Rachel, you're a natural. You've got the knowledge, the charisma, the look. You just need to put yourself out there, and if TV won't give you the space you deserve, create your own."
And that's exactly what she had done. Her blog, "The Rachel Report", took off, thanks to her deep knowledge of the game, her charisma, and her sharp takes. Her YouTube channel and podcast exploded, gaining over a million subscribers in just a year. Fans loved her insight, her humor, and her ability to break down the game like a pro. She was now even getting interviews with players during her podcasts as she covered the league in a way that felt fresh and exciting.
Then one day, a call came.
Rachel had just finished recording an episode of her podcast when her phone buzzed.
She saw the name and her stomach flipped. She answered, trying to keep her cool.
"Hello, this is Rachel DeSantos."
"Rachel DeSantos. Jared Whitman, Head of Sports Media, Atlanta Hawks. I'll cut to the chase. We want you covering the Hawks. Full-time. Officially."
Rachel almost dropped the phone. "Wait... what?"
Jared laughed. "You've built something amazing. Your coverage is some of the best I've seen in years. And the way you connect with fans? It's exactly what we need. We want you on our team if you're interested in coming in for a formal interview with us."
Rachel could barely process the words. This was it. Her dream job.
That night, Rachel ran straight into Jalen's arms the second she saw him coming through the door of Megan's house.
"THE ATLANTA HAWKS CALLED! THEY WANT ME TO COVER THEM FULL TIME!!"
Jalen caught her mid-jump, lifting her off the ground. "HOLY SHIT!! FOR REAL?! THAT IS AWESOME!!"
He spun her around as she laughed, tears forming in her eyes. He had believed in her before she even believed in herself. Later that night, when Rachel sat with Jalen, her baby boy Devin sleeping peacefully in her arms, she whispered:
"You changed my life, you know that?"
Jalen smiled, kissing her forehead. "Nah, Rach. You changed your own life. I just reminded you what you were capable of."
Rachel had arrived, and now, the whole world would see what she was made of.
*************************************
Jalen planned a special night for his eight women, and he never did anything halfway. This moment, the one he had been building toward for over a year, had to be perfect. He had arranged everything down to the finest detail. Deborah, his incredible mother, was at Megan's house along with three assistants Jalen had personally hired to help watch over their eight beautiful children. Tonight was for them. The Eight. The women he loved, changed his life, and stood by him despite all odds. Tonight, he was going to honor them.
That evening, the women arrived at Piedmont Park, dressed to the nines. Every single one of them looked stunning.
Sydney in a deep navy gown, her blond hair cascading effortlessly.
Kristen in a sleek emerald-green dress that hugged her curves perfectly.
Megan in a bold red ensemble, exuding confidence and passion.
Rachel in a black dress with silver accents, embodying strength and resilience.
Karla in a timeless white dress, elegant as ever.
Heidi in a soft lavender gown, looking both powerful and graceful.
Chrysti in a deep wine-colored dress, her presence magnetic.
Jessica in a shimmering gold dress, her signature Jessica Robinson allure shining through.
And on all of their feet were high heels. Jalen had asked them to wear heels, not because he demanded it, but because he knew how powerful, sexy, and confident they felt in them.
When they finally saw Jalen, standing at the center of the park's scenic overlook, their eyes widened because laid out in front of him, resting on a beautifully arranged table under the soft glow of string lights, were eight small velvet boxes.
Each one contained a custom ring, designed specifically for them. He wasn't legally allowed to marry all of them, but that didn't matter. Tonight, Jalen was going to symbolically propose to every single one of them.
Jalen took a deep breath, his heart pounding as they all stood in front of him.
Then, he spoke.
"This past year has been the most insane, challenging, and life-changing year of my life. But through all of it... every single one of you stood by me. You all trusted me, believed in me, and most importantly, you loved me. I know this situation is anything but normal, but what we have is real, and it's ours. I love each and every one of you, with all that I am, and I don't want to spend my life with anyone else but the eight of you."
He exhaled, looking at them, the mothers of his children, the loves of his life.
"So, I don't care what the law says. I don't care what society thinks. I want to make this commitment to you. Forever. Will you all... be truly mine forever?"
One by one, he opened each small box, revealing a stunning ring, each unique to the woman it belonged to. The women were speechless. Tears welled up in Sydney's eyes as she grinned. Megan placed a hand over her mouth, completely overwhelmed. Kristen swallowed hard, trying to fight back emotion. Rachel let out a half-laugh, half-sob, completely undone by the moment. Karla, always composed, actually gasped softly. Heidi wiped at her cheeks, her smile never fading. Chrysti nodded rapidly as happy tears welled up in her eyes as well. Finally, Jessica, the last piece of the puzzle, the woman who fought so hard against fate, whispered: "Yes. A thousand times yes."
One by one, Jalen placed a ring on each of their fingers, and as the city lights of Atlanta sparkled in the distance, Jalen held them all. His Eight. His forever. The moment all the rings were on their fingers, the women swarmed Jalen all at once, each taking turns giving him a big kiss. There was no hesitation, no reservation, no uncertainty. Each of them fully embraced what this meant and what they meant to each other.
Sydney was the first to grab his face and plant a deep, loving kiss on his lips.
Then Megan, still slightly overwhelmed but utterly in love, followed with a passionate kiss of her own.
Kristen cupped his cheeks, letting her lips linger against his, whispering a soft, "I love you."
Rachel grinned through her tears and kissed him like she had been waiting for this moment forever.
Karla melted into him as her lips met his, her hands gently cradling his jaw.
Heidi, with her usual fiery energy, pulled him in close and kissed him in a way that made sure he'd remember it.
Chrysti kissed him deeply, completely giving herself to the moment.
Finally, Jessica kissed him slow and deliberate, savoring the feeling of truly choosing him.
By the time they were all done, Jalen had eight different marks of lipstick or gloss on his mouth. He stood there, dazed, his lips still tingling from the sheer force of their affection.
"Damn..." He exhaled, slightly breathless. The women all laughed, a shared moment of pure joy.
"Anyone else feeling really...I don't know... naughty right now?" Sydney says.
"I mean... I don't know about you all but I really want to bang my fiancé right now..." Heidi said mischievously.
"Girl get in line." Rachel said laughing.
"Ladies...maybe we should all take Jalen back to my place and show him our...love and appreciation..." Jessica said smiling.
Everyone knew exactly what she meant and damn it, they were all game. Jalen stared at eight mischievous, beautiful women, all of them wearing their rings, all of them giving him that look. This was insane, and yet he was not about to say no to this.
Jessica smiled at Jalen's stunned silence.
"Oh, what's wrong? You scared?" She teased, stepping up close, her fingers lightly tracing the buttons of his dress shirt.
Sydney, ever the instigator, leaned in close on his other side. "Jalen's not scared. He's just realizing that he might not survive the night."
Kristen giggled. "We should probably pace ourselves, ladies. We do need him alive to help raise these babies."
Rachel chuckled. "Eh, worst-case scenario, he dies happy."
Karla crossed her arms, amused. "I don't think this man is turning down a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
Jalen finally found his voice, swallowing hard as he looked at all of them—all of his gorgeous, seductive, wickedly playful fiancées.
"...Jessica, your place, huh?" He finally said.
Jessica gave him a slow, deliberate wink. "That's right, fiancé. Hope you're up for a little...celebration."
Heidi grinned, taking his hand. "Well, what are we waiting for?"
And just like that, the eight of them grabbed their man, piling into their cars, heading to Jessica's penthouse.
*******************************************
The elevator ride up to Jessica's penthouse was pure electricity. Jalen stood in the center, surrounded by his eight stunning fiancées.
Each of them had their own unique fire: Sydney's confidence, Kristen's elegance, Megan's boldness, Rachel's competitive energy, Karla's sharp intensity, Heidi's teasing charm, Chrysti's smoldering sensuality, and Jessica's intoxicating allure. Jalen felt like a king, and tonight, his queens were about to devour him.
When the elevator doors opened, Jessica took the lead, stepping out first, her heels clicking against the marble floor of her penthouse. She turned back, locking eyes with Jalen.
"Welcome home, fiancé."
Jalen barely had time to react before Sydney grabbed his tie, pulling him forward into a kiss that was hot, deep, and possessive. He wasn't even finished kissing Sydney before Rachel stole his lips next, her hands tugging at his jacket, hungry and demanding. Then Kristen took her turn, softer but just as passionate, whispering against his lips, "We love you, Jalen."
One by one, they all had their moment with him. By the time Jessica led them all into the bedroom, Jalen was already drowning in their love, their touch, their bodies pressing against him.
From that point on it was pure, unfiltered chaos.
Lips. Hands. Heat. Laughter. Moans. Soft gasps. Clothing hitting the floor. Eight beautiful, seductive women, each wanting their turn with their man. Jalen lost track of time. It was sensory overload. It was a masterpiece of love and pleasure intertwined.
There were no less than four pairs of hands and lips on him at all times. Each woman took turns riding Jalen, being under him, or bending over and allowing him to wreck them from behind. There were several times where one woman rode his cock while another sat on his face.
It was clear now that the eight women had reached a profound level of comfortability with the prospect of sharing Jalen and with each other because there were times where they were sensual with each other, while they hung on to or were ramrodded by Jalen. No one got jealous or uncomfortable at any point. If anything, the women competed with each over who could be the freakiest and who could unravel Jalen the most.
Jalen didn't know how he would do it, but he was determined to summon the strength from somewhere to satisfy all eight of his fiancées even if it killed him. He came inside of one. Then after about five or six minutes, he'd work on another... or she'd work on him. This cycle repeated with all of them. Jalen felt like he must have been in at least a dozen different positions throughout the night.
By 1 AM it was over. They were all exhausted, tangled together, breathless, and completely spent. Jalen laid there in the middle of it all, completely wrecked, completely worshiped, and completely at peace.
Jessica, curled up beside him, pressed a slow kiss to his jaw. "Still alive?"
Jalen groaned, his body feeling thoroughly used. "Barely."
Sydney laughed, nestling into his other side. "Told you we'd break you."
Rachel smiled, her hand lazily tracing his chest. "I'd say we properly celebrated."
Kristen kissed his shoulder. "Best engagement party ever."
Megan, eyes fluttering shut, completely satisfied, whispered. "We should do this again sometime."
Heidi chuckled, half-asleep. "Jalen might need a week to recover first."
Karla, always the practical one, yawned. "We should probably make an actual schedule, though."
Chrysti, curled against his side, murmured sleepily, "Tomorrow. Let's figure that out...tomorrow."
Jalen, surrounded, loved, cherished, and completely drained, just smiled.
The next morning was truly a sight to behold. Jalen lay with eight gorgeous women all who were the mothers of his children. He had somehow found the strength and stamina to give all of them orgasms and cum at least once inside every single one of them. Jalen was the first to fall asleep and did not wake for ten hours. He had never known exhaustion like this before.
He made sure that each one of them screamed his name, that each of them felt worshipped, that each of them knew, without a doubt, how much he loved them, and in return they completely devoured him.
By the time the sun rose, their bodies were tangled together, the room filled with the scent of love, pleasure, and passion. Jalen finally stirred, his body aching in the best way possible. He cracked one eye open and saw the most beautiful sight. Eight stunning women, all naked, all glowing, all curled up against him, on him, around him.
Sydney was on his right, her hand resting lazily on his stomach. Kristen was on his left, her long legs entwined with his. Megan was tucked just below them, her face peaceful against his chest. Rachel was near his feet, arms wrapped around his leg. Karla had an arm slung over his waist, her fingers lightly grazing his skin. Heidi was nestled next to Sydney, sighing in her sleep. Chrysti was curled against his shoulder above him, her soft breaths warm against his neck. Finally, Jessica was sprawled out at the foot of the bed, her red nails lightly scratching his ankle even in sleep.
Jalen smiled sleepily. Damn. He had truly claimed his throne as the man of these eight incredible women. He wasn't just their lover or the father of their children. He was their partner, protector, and king. As he laid there, completely surrounded by love, warmth, and the overwhelming presence of his women, Jalen realized something. Life didn't get better than this.
************************************
Seven weeks later, the eight women called Jalen to meet them all at Megan's house.
Jalen pulled up to Megan's house, curious about why his fiancées had called him over so urgently. Walking in, he immediately noticed their smiles, which were a mix of excitement, warmth, and something else he couldn't quite place.
"Alright...what's going on?" Jalen asked, folding his arms, his smile growing.
Sydney, standing at the front, stepped forward with a confident grin. "We all have something to show you."
Kristen spoke next, her voice steady yet emotional. "It's something we all talked about...and we all agreed on."
Megan, unable to contain her excitement, held up a folder. "We made it official, Jalen."
Rachel smiled, "Legally official."
Karla handed him the papers. "Take a look."
Jalen took the folder, opening it, his heart pounding as he scanned the documents inside, and then his breath caught.
His eyes flicked from one paper to the next, seeing the names...
-Sydney Moss -Kristen Moss -Megan Moss -Rachel DeSantos-Moss -Karla Silva-Moss -Heidi Moss -Chrysti Moss -Jessica Rollins-Moss
Jalen's eyes widened. He looked up.
"Wait...are you serious?"
Jessica, standing at the back, finally spoke, her tone softer but firm. "We're serious, Jalen. We're yours."
Chrysti crossed her arms, smiling, "And now the world knows it too."
Jalen looked at each of them, his chest tightening with an emotion he wasn't used to feeling so strongly. Love, commitment, and belonging.
He wasn't just the father of their children, or the man they shared their lives with. They had chosen him fully and completely.
Jalen blinked, trying to process it all. "You...you all really changed your names?"
Sydney stepped forward, cupping his face. "Yes, Jalen. Because we're family. And because we love you."
Kristen grinned. "And because we know you're never gonna leave us."
Megan smiled. "And because we're never leaving you."
Rachel shrugged. "Might as well make it official."
Karla leaned in. "And legally binding."
Heidi nudged him. "You gonna say something, or are you just gonna stand there and look emotional?"
Jalen let out a soft chuckle, shaking his head. "I... I don't even know what to say."
Chrysti smiled again. "A thank you would be nice."
Jessica, her voice filled with warmth, "Or maybe just a kiss."
Jalen grinned. Then he kissed all of them one by one. These were his women. His family. His forever.

A few weeks later, Karla and Heidi fully realized an idea that they secretly had from before Kayla was even born. They officially opened a new law practice together dedicated to representing women who are victims of abuse, neglect, oppression and/or violence.
Jalen walked into the modern office space Karla had been raving about for weeks. The building was newly renovated, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Atlanta skyline. Inside, the décor was minimalistic but professional with white walls, dark wooden floors, and sleek black leather furniture. The space still had that "new office smell."
As soon as he stepped inside, he saw Sydney, Heidi, and Karla waiting for him near the front desk. Sydney was holding a sign that read: Moss & Moss. It was still wrapped in protective plastic.
"About time you got here," Karla said, smirking. "We were just about to unveil it without you."
Jalen raised an eyebrow. "Unveil what?"
Heidi motioned toward the large sign. "Moss & Moss. The official name of our firm."
Jalen blinked. "Wait, our firm? As in, you two...?"
"As in," Karla said, grinning, "Heidi and I are officially business partners. We're opening a firm dedicated to representing women who are victims of abuse, neglect, oppression, or violence. The work we started with Megan, that was just the beginning."
Jalen exhaled, running a hand over his beard. "Damn..." He looked at Heidi. "So, this is what all those late nights were about?"
"Some of them," Heidi said playfully. "Oh, and guess who's our Director of Communications and Marketing?!"
Jalen turned to Sydney who was smiling sheepishly. "Sydney?! That's awesome!"
"I mean, who better?" Sydney said proudly. "I already have a ton of experience in PR, and I care about what we're doing here. This is more than a job. This is about helping women who need a voice."
Jalen smiled, looking between the three of them. "This is... huge. I mean, you're building something real. Something that's actually gonna change lives."
Karla crossed her arms. "That's the goal."
"Now," Heidi said, grinning, "we need your contracting expertise to make some adjustments to the office space."
Jalen laughed. "Oh, so that's why I was invited. I'm here to work."
"Always," Karla said, grinning.
Jalen looked up at the Moss & Moss sign one more time, a deep sense of pride swelling in his chest. These women, his fiancées, the mothers of his children, were powerhouses. They weren't just part of his life; they were making an impact on the world.
He put his arms around all three women and pulled them in for a hug.
"I'm proud of you. All of you."
"Damn right you are." Sydney said playfully.
As they laughed together, reality set in. Moss & Moss wasn't just a law firm. It was a statement, a legacy, and it was just getting started.

Six months later, the energy in the rented-out lounge was electric. The lights were dimmed, the walls adorned with deep reds and golds, creating an intimate yet powerful ambiance. Music industry executives, artists, and fans gathered at the exclusive album release party for Jessica Rollins' debut album: My Dual Identities.
At the front of the venue, a massive digital billboard displayed the album cover, Jessica, half-lit in dramatic lighting, one side of her wearing the sultry, glamorous Jessica Robinson persona, and the other side bare-faced, natural, and raw as Jennifer Rollins.
It was a statement and a declaration.
Jalen walked in with the other seven women who were all dressed to kill for the occasion. They had been waiting for this night for months, supporting Jessica through the entire process.
The album was deeply personal. It wasn't just music; it was a story. Her story.
As the evening went on, the event host stepped onto the stage. "Ladies and gentlemen... the woman of the hour... the incredibly talented Jessica Rollins!"
The crowd erupted into applause as Jessica stepped out onto the stage. She was breathtaking. She wore a dazzling green sequined gown that hugged her curves, her signature red lipstick, and long, deep red curls cascading over her shoulders. Her 12-cm Christian Louboutin pump heels clicked against the floor as she walked, exuding pure confidence.
Jalen couldn't take his eyes off her.
"Wow," Jessica said into the mic, taking a moment to take in the room. "I honestly can't believe this is happening. This album... is more than just music. It's my truth."
The audience quieted as she continued.
"For a long time, I struggled with who I was supposed to be. I built an image. A persona. A mask, and for years, I convinced myself that I had to keep my two identities separate. That I had to choose."
She turned, locking eyes with Jalen.
"But then... I met someone who didn't make me choose. Someone who loved both sides of me, completely, and because of him... and because of the people in this room who supported me, I finally learned that I didn't have to be just one thing. I could be both."
Jalen felt a lump in his throat.
Jessica smiled. "So... let's stop talking and start celebrating, yeah? Because My Dual Identities is out NOW!"
The crowd exploded in cheers, and the speakers boomed with the first track from the album. It was a sultry, jazz-infused song with hauntingly beautiful vocals, Jessica's signature sound.
As the party kicked into full swing, Jessica made her way to Jalen.
"Did you really just dedicate that speech to me?" Jalen teased.
Jessica smiled. "You're lucky I didn't put your name in the damn liner notes."
Jalen pulled her close, his hand resting on her waist. "I'm proud of you, baby."
She softened. "I know. And... thank you for pushing me to do this. You always saw more in me than I saw in myself."
Jalen chuckled. "That's ‘cause you're incredible."
Jessica rolled her eyes, but the blush on her cheeks gave her away.
"Shut up and dance with me, Moss."
Jalen grinned. "Yes, ma'am."
As they swayed together, surrounded by her success, their love, and their growing future, it was clear. Jessica Rollins-Moss had finally embraced herself, and she wasn't looking back.

The next day, Megan sat on her plush sectional couch, bouncing baby Noah on her knee as she sipped a matcha latte. Across from her, Jessica sat in a chic black jumpsuit and red Louboutins, looking every bit the star she had become.
Jessica's debut album, "My Dual Identities," was already getting major hype and positive feedback. The music industry was buzzing about her unique, soulful sound and deeply personal storytelling.
Jessica took a deep breath. "Megan, I need you."
Megan raised an eyebrow. "For what exactly?"
Jessica smiled. "I want to hire you as my manager."
Megan blinked in surprise. "Me? What makes you think I'm qualified to manage a music career?"
Jessica leaned forward. "Because you're a badass businesswoman. You took Chris to court and won. You built a new life from scratch. You've been networking and making moves since you got your settlement. You know how to handle high-stakes negotiations and you don't take shit from anyone."
Megan smiled. "All true."
Jessica continued. "I need someone I trust. Someone who has my best interests at heart. You understand my story. You understand me. I don't want some random industry dude trying to control my image. I want someone who knows how to play the game but won't let the game play me."
Megan was silent for a moment, considering.
"I don't have music industry experience," she finally said.
Jessica shrugged. "Neither did Kris Jenner before she turned her family into an empire."
Megan laughed, shaking her head. "So, you're saying you want me to be your Kris Jenner?"
Jessica grinned. "Exactly."
Megan looked down at Noah, then back at Jessica. "If we do this, I'm not half-assing it. I'll negotiate your contracts, book your deals, handle PR, and make sure nobody screws you over."
Jessica smiled. "That's exactly what I want."
Megan extended her hand. "Then let's build your empire."
Jessica shook her hand.

About a week later, Kristen sat across from Jim Harbor, her legs elegantly crossed, her long dark brown hair falling effortlessly over her shoulders. She was dressed in a sophisticated white blouse, a fitted navy pencil skirt, and her Christian Louboutin heels.
Jim, Wellness Georgia's longtime Executive Director, folded his hands on the desk, studying her with a small smile.
"Kristen," he started, his tone measured but warm. "You've done an exceptional job here. I've watched you grow, navigate challenges, and earn the respect of everyone in this organization, and now, I think it's time we talk about the future."
Kristen straightened in her chair. "Jim... are you saying what I think you're saying?"
Jim chuckled. "I'm retiring. It's time, and I want you to take my place as Executive Director of Wellness Georgia."
Kristen froze. She had expected a promotion at some point, but this? This was huge.
"Jim... I—" she hesitated, her mind racing. "Are you sure? I mean, I've been here for years, but Executive Director? That's a massive role."
Jim leaned forward. "I wouldn't be offering this to you if I wasn't absolutely sure, Kristen. You've got the leadership skills, the vision, and the passion to take this organization into the future, and frankly, there's no one I trust more."
Kristen swallowed, her heart pounding.
"Look, I know you've had a lot of changes in your life recently," Jim continued. "Motherhood, the stuff with your ex-fiancé, balancing everything with Jalen and your whole family, but if anyone can handle all of it, it's you, and don't think for a second that being a mother makes you any less qualified. If anything, it makes you even more suited for this role."
Kristen's lip twitched into a small smile. "You really believe that?"
Jim nodded. "Without a doubt."
Kristen exhaled. She had worked so hard for this moment, and now it was here.
"When would this transition happen?" she finally asked.
Jim grinned. "Three months. I'll help guide you through the transition, introduce you to the right people, and ensure you're set up for success. But Kristen... this is your organization now, and I have no doubt you'll take it to heights even I couldn't reach."
Kristen couldn't hold back the smile anymore. This was it. This was her moment. She extended her hand, meeting Jim's gaze with confidence.
"Then let's do it," she said.
Jim shook her hand, sealing the deal.

A few days later Jalen, his eight fiancées, his eight children, his mother, and even his brother Jamal and his girlfriend were enjoying themselves on a beautiful day at Piedmont Park having a big picnic together. Sydney's mom and Karla's mom were there too.
The sun was high in the sky, casting a golden glow over Piedmont Park. The gentle breeze rustled the trees, providing just enough relief from the warmth of the day.
A large picnic setup sprawled across the lush green grass. There were blankets, picnic baskets filled with food, coolers with drinks, and a few toys scattered around for the babies.
Jalen sat in the middle of it all, looking around, taking it all in.
His eight fiancées, each radiant in their own way, laughing, talking, playing with the babies.
His eight children, all still so young, but each a living testament to the love they shared.
His mother, Deborah, smiling warmly, watching her grandkids play as she spoke to Sydney's mother, Pamela, and Karla's mother, Esperanza.
Jamal was sitting on a blanket with his girlfriend, Amber, the two of them watching everything with amusement.
This was it. The life Jalen had built. The family he had fought for.
Sydney was feeding Julius some blueberries, occasionally brushing her blonde hair out of her face while talking to Kristen, who was rocking her daughter, Bella.
Megan, Rachel, and Karla were engaged in a lively conversation, their little ones close by, while Rachel also had her phone out, filming a little content for her YouTube channel.
Heidi was helping Chrysti adjust Adrian's tiny hat, making sure the baby wasn't getting too much sun.
Jessica, looking absolutely stunning even in a casual sundress, was singing softly to Joy, who was cooing happily in her arms.
Jalen exhaled deeply, shaking his head with a grin.
"You good?" Jamal asked, nudging him.
Jalen chuckled. "Bruh... I'm beyond good."
Amber smirked. "You sure? Because from where I'm sitting, you look like a man still trying to wrap his head around the fact that you got eight women, eight kids, and a whole-ass empire now."
Jalen laughed, shaking his head. "That's exactly what I'm doing."
Jamal grinned, then nodded toward the women. "They love you, bro, and the way they work together, support each other... That shit's wild. But it works."
Amber raised an eyebrow. "So, when's our turn?"
Jamal choked on his drink. "Yo, chill. We just got back together."
Jalen cracked up, shaking his head. He looked out at his family once more, feeling nothing but gratitude. The journey hadn't been easy. There had been challenges, dangers, heartbreaks, doubts, but this moment and this peace made everything worth it.
Jalen got up, walking toward his women, toward his children, toward the life he had built. This was forever, and this was his destiny.
The End.
