The Dream

I was tired, exhausted my arms ached, my feet ached. I could hardly keep my eyes open. I put the key in the door and let myself in to the flat. Kicked my shoes off in the hallway and crept up the stairs.

I undressed in the bathroom, slipping off my skirt and blouse and dumping them on the floor. After a short visit to the loo, I walked into the bedroom and threw myself down onto the bed. Leaving on my bra and panties, I lay on top of the covers and curled myself up around my pillow and went straight to sleep.

It felt like I had been asleep for only a short period when I woke up with a pain in my shoulders and my arms ached. I tried to open my eyes to see what was wrong but I couldn't there was something over my eyes. I tried to move my arms to get my hands to my face but I couldn't.

I screamed for help but I got no answer, I wriggled my toes and found that I was stood on something. It was cold but not smooth, using my toes to explore the surface I realised I was stood on a chair.

Now I was scared, my heart pounding, my skin, clammy, I could feel the sweat trickling down my face. I called out again and again, wanting to ...
