The bright shiny oversized blue envelope stood out amongst the other mail as if it were superior to the rest. When the little door to box 214 was opened, light danced on the envelope, bringing it to life. Sierra grabbed the shining envelope, ignoring the rest, and clattered up to her room.

Once she was behind locked doors, Sierra forced herself to be calm and set her things down before sitting on her threadbare couch to open the special message.
