The Meeting - Part One

She sat naked on the couch. She couldn't believe it was actually happening. She had thought about this moment, sometimes dreamed about it, but somewhere in the back of her mind, she never believed it would really happen. Yet, here she was.

He had called to say "Happy Birthday" She couldn't remember ever telling him when her birthday was, but she'd told him so much she probably just forgot. Anyway, she smiled, and softly said "thanks", not expecting any more than a much needed break from work and the light bantering they had taken to recently. At first, that's just what happened. He asked how she was, she asked how he was, they chatted about their day, and flirted a bit. She smiled to herself as she remembered how shocked she was when he very casually told her there was a limousine waiting for her outside.

As she stammered for a minute, he continued on and told her that this was his present to her, and that she should just leave work and get in the limo. "Are you downstairs also?" she asked, trying to hide her excitement, trying to be as casual as he was. He chuckled softly, " No Kitten, I'm not, but don't be disappointed. I have a few surprises for you. Now go down and get in the car, the driver's waiting." He hung up, just like him, barely a goodbye, just a click and he was gone.
