“Ship will land in T-5 minutes.”

The feminine computer voice echoed down the halls of the ship and into Kayena’s office. She blew a wisp of hair out of her face and concentrated on the maps and figures spread out on the table before her. Based off of her calculations, the planet they were about to land on had a stable environment, stable enough that they should be able to explore without the aid of oxygen.

She hastily glanced at her watch as she grabbed her tool belt and fastened it about her tiny waist. One of the benefits of being so small was she could maneuver so easily anywhere she needed.

She checked the pressure gauge, then took off down the hall. She would send a few probes out to gather information first, then after knowing for certain it was safe, she would take a live crew out.

She saw Garth rounding the corner about the same time he spotted her, and she wanted to groan out loud. Garth was the first Lieutenant on the ship, and he wasn’t such a bad guy. But he could never stop harassing her. It was as though he had a chronic stiffy and wanted to fuck any female that got in his radar. And she was currently in his radar.
