The cab pulled up outside the building. Ashleigh looked up at it nervously. It had been a big decision to move interstate. Had cost her dearly too. The break-up with her boyfriend had been messy and she still hurt. Collecting her thoughts, she paid the driver and stepped out onto the pavement.

The men standing out the front stared. She felt conspicuous in her new business suit. Was the skirt too short? No, she decided, it looked good on her; the saleswoman had told her so. She smoothed her jacket and headed into the building.

Having found her way to the office, she politely gave the secretary her name and sat down to wait, making sure she crossed her long legs. She didn’t want to give the wrong impression on her first day! Ashleigh had been trying to picture her new boss for a week now. They had never spoken on the phone so she had assumed that he was middle aged. She got a shock when this young, attractive and obviously very sexually aware guy walked up to her. “Good morning. You must be Ashleigh.” He extended his hand and she shook it. “Yes.” Why had her mouth suddenly gone dry? “I’m Brad. You’re going to be my working for me as my personal assistant.
