I was quite excited to move into my new home. It had taken me several years of saving and scrimping to be able to afford a down payment and while the house was not located in the best of neighborhoods, I was still pleased with my new street. Most of the houses were well kept and seemed to be occupied by younger, mostly two income couples working to fix up these older homes.
