JAN AT THE HOTEL

Jan was so happy that evening.

T. had called on Thursday and told her that the merger negotiations had been put off until Monday, and that she should fly in for a romantic weekend together. They had been married six months and had known each other for only a year. They had met shortly before her College graduation; he was ten years older. She relished every hour with him and hated every second when they had to be apart because of the many trips that his professional business required him to take.

Now it was Saturday night. He had shown her the sights of that city on the opposite coast, where she had never been before. They had been out to dinner and then they had stopped at the hotel rooftop bar for a last drink before going to merge their bodies again in their room. A small band had begun to play and they had decided to have another drink and stay for some dancing. Only a few other couples were on the floor: the hotel guests were mostly men, stuck there alone for the weekend, their companies trying to save money by keeping them away on Saturday night.

Jan looked even sexier than usual. What she had on was a little too risque for that staid business hotel. It was a very short black skirt, and as she was dancing the hem would sometimes rise and show the lacy top of the stay-up hose she was wearing. A blue, low cut, silk blouse ...
