The Hotel Room

Taking a sip of your drink, you lean back in your chair and rub your eyes wearily with one hand. Endless days and nights of negotiations and meetings are starting to take their toll on you, but despite your exhaustion, you find yourself strangely restless tonight and unable to unwind enough to sleep.

Casually looking around the club you see a few hopeful smiles and the thought of pursuing one of them crosses your mind briefly before being dimissed just as quickly. "Time enough for that after this merger is completed" you think to yourself as you finish your drink and rise to your feet. Making your way across the crowded room your body is jostled by people and you breathe a sigh of relief as you step outside into the crisp, clear night and make your way to the car.

Reaching into your pocket for your keys, you stop as your fingers encounter another key ring. Pulling it out, you see a large key with a note attached to it. Smiling and half chuckling you twist the tag so you can read the note on it.

"Come to the Mount Waverley Hotel. Room 234. Don't keep me waiting."
