This is based mostly on a true story although the names have been changed to protect the guilty. Hope you enjoy reading it. It is my first attempt at writing a story so i hope you enjoy it.

Chapter 1 - The Beginning

' Still more interviews ' I said to Graham. We had been interviewing for 2 days and we had both had enough. We had even decided to conduct our interviews 2 at a time. I am Andy, Head Chef and Graham was my friend and manager. We were interviewing for new staff in the pub where we both worked in preparation for the forthcoming summer season. It was here I met Michael.

I had known I was gay since I was at primary school and although this story is not about those times in my life it may well help the reader to understand more with a little explanation.

It wasn't easy all those feelings going round in my head, at first not knowing what they meant. It felt at the time like I wanted to 'mother' other boys my own age, to give them a big hug and tell them it was going to be all right. I became slowly used to these feelings and realised it meant I was 'gay' or a homosexual. Thanks to a season a few years later working at Pontins, where there were lots of gay people I was able to 'come out' and become confident about my sexuality. I even became very open about it especially at work over the years. ...
