I had taken my daughter off to preschool that morning, determined to do some major spring cleaning while I had the house to myself. Maybe it was because it was late April and we had finally received the warm reprieve from Winter's depths. Although it was only supposed to be a high of 56°F that day, I pulled up the blinds and threw open the windows wide. The arrival of Spring required drastic measures to remove any remaining Winter blahs, especially on a completely snow-cover free morning after several months of below-40 degree weather in Wisconsin.

This was a celebration of sorts, not Nesting Syndrome... I was only three months along - barely showing in fact. My jeans still fit me. The only signs we had found so far were comparable to what had happened to me when I was pregnant with my daughter: violently ill at the smell of green beans or spaghetti, the occasional morning bouts of illness that made me more determined to keep the bathroom clean and simply ...
