Emily comes again and again. By Lady Grey

It was a couple of days after Emily's little exhibition at the Kurt Wilder showing when George got a surprise call from the management office of the firm where he worked. Paul Gratton, the CEO, wanted to see him in his office. George wondered what the problem was. His sales figures were a little down this last month, but really nothing to worry about, and as far as he knew, there were no other problems.

He knocked on Paul's door and heard the call for him to come in. He was surprised to find Phil Newman, the GM, there. They were both drinking, so whatever they wanted him for, it was nothing too serious. George walked in and Paul told him to take a seat. He then offered him a drink. George thanked him and asked for a whisky. Paul motioned to Phil to pour him a glass.

When they all had a glass, Paul smiled at him. "I hear we missed out on a treat a few nights ago." George looked at both of them in turn, a puzzled expression on his face. "At the gallery," Phil put in. Then it dawned on George that they had found out about Emily's little show.

"Rather naughty of you not too invite us along," he said, shaking a finger at George, who was now feeling a little nervous.

"It was something of a surprise to me," George blurted out. ...
