Helen was bored and frustrated. It had been 4 weeks since the wedding and 1 week since Lucas had to fly out on business leaving her here alone.

Ok she wasn't exactly alone what with Nonna, Madre, Rosa, Stefano and all the staff. But at night she was alone in that big empty bed and she found she was missing Lucas a lot and it wasn't just the sex either. It was the way his violet eyes twinkled when he teased her or his sister, the sound of his laughter, the way he would wrap his arm around her waist or take her hand as though it was the most natural thing to do.

She had tried to occupy herself, she was now pretty much fluent in Italian and hardly ever had to ask for someone to slow down. She was also enjoying her daily rides and this past week she had really gotten to know Jonas the stable hand very well and was helping him out with his lack of confidence around Isabelle so he could finally ask her out.

But there was still so much free time she couldn't fill. She sighed as she walked along the extensive grounds, even watching a now confident Tigger bounding about exploring everything failed to lift her spirits. The one thought that occupied most of her waking time was, when was Lucas coming back?
