Movie Star

California didn't turn out to be what I had expected, but at least I was able to find a good job. I started working for a Maid Service, that catered to rich people, and therefore paid very well.

They didn't tell me who I was going to work for, just gave me an address and a contact person;so here I was, in my black uniform, knocking at the side entrance to this huge estate. A woman let me in and started talking to me with a heavy spanish accent. Every once in a while she would turn to someone else, mostly some of the male helpers, who were staring at me, and tell them something in spanish. I wished I could understand what she was saying, because whatever it was...it seemed to work.
