| Overworked and exhausted, Alex nearly missed a chance with Skye, a pretty, energetic blonde with more connections than either of them realize. A cute, romantic seduction story with a clever ending. Also ONE ON ONE and SEDUCTION. | |||

This story has been 90 percent finished since Spring 2024, yet stalled at the sex scene because after crafting such a strong, believable romance and creating a vivid setting… I didn’t want to finish it. Like INCENTIVE from a couple of years ago, I just don’t see where there needs to be a second chapter of SKYE (or INCENTIVE) once the romance ‘culminates’ into a relationship. I hope the final creation is as fun, fresh, exciting and romantic for you to read as it was for me to write.
Incidentally, the random generation of the name ‘SKYE’ for this story inspired the main character ‘Skye’ in LIFE STUDIES, one of my most popular female characters to date.
--------------------------------------------------------
My name is Alex, I am 19 years old, 6’ with short black hair, hazel eyes that change with my mood, and an athletic body. My dad is remarried and lives in Arizona, so it’s just my mom and me. She works all week as a city dispatcher for police, fire and rescue, then some nights and all day Saturday at her friend’s flower shop. Because mom works so hard to make ends meet, I decided to skip college and do the same. I work full time for a busy bowling alley and just applied for part time at a local pizza place that is privately owned and super busy. The point of all of this is I rarely have a day off and sometimes work all seven days. I haven’t had a girlfriend in months and both times I went on a date recently, things didn’t go well. As much as I would love to have a girlfriend, be in a relationship, and have sex on the regular, I would stand in traffic for my mom.
It’s not even a decision.
I’ve read stories where the guy (or the girl) start out sad, meets someone, the music plays, and everyone is happy. This is not the case. I was too busy working. My bosses at the bowling alley are a married couple, Shane and Tammy. Shane was a local pro who won a lot of tournaments around the state over the years. Tammy is my mom’s closest friend. They pay well, treat me like family, and whenever they’re not there, they trust me to run things. I’ve worked for them since I was 16 and it’s the only job I’ve ever had, at least until I start working over at the pizza place. Shane knows the owner of the pizza place, called him, and I went in for an interview. An interview at 9am the morning following closing the bowling alley at 2am, and getting out of there and home closer to 3am.
To say I was tired is just a waste of words.
Bryce, the owner, was patient and understood, said the interview was just a formality, and offered me the job. He even offered to work around my schedule at the bowling alley. I was sitting at one of the five small tables in the lobby, filling out paperwork, when a tall girl dressed all in black, with flour and who knows what else all over her, sat down at my table and said, “Hi." I was so tired that I just stared at her. It looked like she might have blonde hair, or maybe light brown, all shoved messily under a Detroit Lions cap.
I know they were suddenly winning, but Detroit Lions in Northern Florida?
I sighed, “Hey” then looked at my paperwork but everything was blurry because I was just so tired. The girl drank some of her Pepsi then laughed, “Are you sleepy or something?” I stared at her again. Was there any flour left or was it all on her? She pushed her soda towards me and I frowned until she laughed again, got up and went behind the counter, then came back with another Pepsi for me. It was nice and I said, “Thank you. I closed at work last night and I’m really tired." She smiled and I wondered how anyone could be so happy.
I mean really.
I opened the soda, drank some, exhaled, drank some more, then repeated,
